  1. Is the belt guard in place and the red stop switch pulled fully up ? Also it's worth checking the engine oil level, with this engine if the fuel tap isn't turned off after use , fuel can get into the sump and dilute the engine oil.
  2. You have got the belt guard fitted and the red stop button lifted up ?
  3. I've had flywheels jam solid if a piece of wood manages to get between the outer edge of the flywheel and the wrap.. It can take something like a scaffolding bar to turn it to free it off.
  4. It looks like our Pete N had a late night (yawn) ?
  5. The five degrees is the back angle..
  6. The link doesn’t seem to work for me..... All I can say is that the angles seem fairly critical, even the ‘back angle’ needs to be right for the best performance.. Jase..
  7. Yes I know the weekends can be difficult. And yes, noises can be very difficult to diagnose over the phone , everything sounds different on the phone too if someone says “ listen to this, what do you think”.
  8. Don't Forst offer a phone help service ?
  9. Oh and yes there was a 40 kph version..
  10. The 51 series were great in their day, I would only be concerned with the amount of electrics that could potentially cause problems. The engines though , being a joint venture with ‘Cummins’ were superb..!
  11. I worked for a Case/ IH dealership back then so I would have to be biased and say an IH 956/1056 XL but as already said , tediously slow for road use.. You won't go far wrong with a 50 series John Deere as already recommended..
  12. Drawing in air on the suction side somewhere between the pump and the tank ?
  13. GreenMech Quad Track.....
  14. That's great , hopefully it will work.......
  15. If, and that's a big if, it does have the same software that GreenMech use then after you have entered the code and pressed the set button you can then scroll around the menu options using the up/down keys. On a GreenMech the first option is 'function select ' , you press set again to enter this menu then scroll to 'roller start/roller stop ' using the up or down keys. When you have found the one you want to change press set again to enter the function then alter the setting with the up and down keys and once you're happy with the value entered then press set to exit. You have to exit the programming by finding the prompt : exit select.... then press set, wait for the timer to count down then turn the ignition off to store the new settings... I hope this maybe of some help but I've no idea if it will work as it's for a GreenMech.... Jase
  16. You'll then need to input the code and press set though.... GreenMechs was 1234 You could try that maybe.....
  17. That sounds very much like an EHB box. GreenMech used EHB boxes for a while and to programme them you had to hold in the set button whilst turning on the ignition and then enter a code using the up and down buttons.. ..
  18. Thanks. If you require a wiring diagram just let me know.. Jase.
  19. Just wondering if you managed to sort this..? Jase.
  20. As said earlier, that inner race still needs to be removed from the shaft... Jase..
  21. I'm guessing it's an EC150/25D, Lister engine looking at the spacer tack welded to the shaft..? If I'm right then you'll need an SF40DEC bearing , make sure it's an 'eccentric locking collar type bearing.. Jase.. If I'm wrong on the model then what is it..?
  22. Regarding the part number for the bearing , what model of chipper is it..? Jase..
  23. GreenMech fit check valves on the 19-28 Safetrack for this very reason...
  24. Yep as it's only a lynch pin holding the wheel on.....
  25. Is it a simple 'pressure relief valve ? If so couldn't you refit the valve and put a gauge in the system to check it's operating at the correct pressure ? It looks adjustable to me....
