  1. Morning Per. Nice to see you on here.
  2. Thats about £100,000 a year is it not? Thats a drop in the ocean for a lot of companies on here.
  3. What size of logs can you mill upto with the F1? Do you run the Alaskans as a business?
  4. Cant help with your questions but you seem to have it all figured out anyway. So whats the deal with living in Laos?
  5. I mill with my 48" Bar and have a few Slabs maxed out on that. Do you have the work for that kinda Mill? I have my Eye on the Chainsawbars 87" Mill and Bar but Im not sure how often Id need it. Im gonna join ASH and see what job offers come my way. If there is even one job I'll buy it and trade for some slabs.
  6. 3.5' is 42" where as the slabs in question are 51" and look almost uniform all the way. That Id pay £300 for green. There a lot you can do with an extra 9" . But good to know where I can source Green and dried Oak Slabs of that size for a realistic price.
  7. Wish I was down your way then! Maybe if my Bro is coming up I'll ask him to swing by. What size of Oak Slabs do you have for £300?
  8. Also worth remembering Bandsaws seem to lose very little value, even years later.
  9. I joined a logosol page on FB thats based in Sweden. Ive seen a few getting a mention there. Could be worth joining and asking? From looking at the design its gonna be much better than the M7/8 as it has the bar nose support.
  10. Some pics would be nice. Might convince to mill my Ash Butts. Out of interest have you ever quater sawn Ash? Is it worth it?
  11. What would you recon you'd sell a green slab like that for? And then when dried?
  12. Yeh, I agree. But do they sell for that? If I was in the market for a Slab that size thats what Id expect to hear from the Seller. But If I got one for a Bag of Sand Id be happy and maybe the seller too?
  13. I think some of the biggest boards in the pics that are also really clean would sell for £1000. Maybe not right away but for sure they'd get that price. Just look at the size of them!
  14. How much Slabs did you end up with in the end then? Recon it was worth it? Ive heeard folk charging £300-£350 a day for a Double Ender and if there is no helper then you add £100 to bring your own guy. But if you're getting slabs out that are worth over a Grand Each its fair money.
  15. Thats good to know the two saws work well together. I have a 088 and 064 so they should work well together as well. Never heard of a Swerber?
  16. If you dont have a use for them its a lot of work for something that of no real use to you and of little value. Personally Id just log them up. Ive got for 40" Plus Ash Logs that Im debating if I'll bother slabbing or not? I just find Ash so boring to look at.
  17. I meant my Alaskan Mill. Id have to buy a Double Ended one though obviously.
  18. Thats some clean looking Beech. Not a fan of it but that looks nice.
  19. Wait till she's got Post Natal, I'll get a better price.
  20. Suggest to her she'll never have time to race again and that you know someone who'll buy the Challie for a good price.
  21. Shes not called Linda is she? I do love an E Body too. Had a 1973 Plymouth Barracuda and a 1970 Dodge Challenger.
  22. Would love to have a go at that, but to far away for me I think. Would have been a good excuse to get a Double Ended Mill though.
