  1. Greenmech CS100 starting issue help, turn key and it clicks just once but won't turn over, fires up fine on pull start and battery is fully charged. Starter motor maybe? its been doing it every so often past few weeks but today wouldn't start with key at all.

    201t

Having issues with my Stihl ms201t, some days it’s great, other days it’s dog shat. Using today for about an hour, move to next cut with saw on harness, try to start and nothing. Even groundy had no luck getting it going. Get home, starts first pull FFS. Not the 1st time it’s been like this. any ideas? Fresh fuel on way to job also
  3. If you're only loading/unloading tools, machinery etc to go to work then I wouldn't worry about it. Sure that's what every tradesperson in the country must do. However if you're repairing machinery on driveway, revving up saws etc on a regular basis then I can see people having issues.
  4. What hung up branch? Yes I did get it down . Few of my small Silky jobs
  5. Just spotted this on FB, let’s hope the owner gets them back
  6. My biggest concern would be allowing my iPad battery to get to 3% sorry, couldn't resist

    Aspen

Thanks for that, will give it another go then. Thought it was strange after reading other past posts on here raving about it. Is the tuning something I can do myself?

    Aspen

Anyone had issues running on aspen after using 2 stroke in same saws? Had loads of starting issues with chainsaws, then newish hs82 hedge trimmers wouldn't start at all. Dropped them off at a well known Stihl repairer/dealer, he simply poured aspen out, put 2 stroke in and fired them up. Told me it's crap don't use it!!!
  10. I'd be more worried about someone tripping/falling onto rebar, ouch
  11. Crappy rope if needed & free climbing you'll be saying no need for training & tickets next
  12. Because he only broke 1
  13. Now that, is a fantastic idea. Certainly keep a lot of crud off chipper
  14. Sounds a cracking machine, what size timber/fork gets snagged, and is it the angle of the fork that is causing the issue? looking to purchase one in a couple of months but a little anxious now.
  15. They're stopping tree works completely I've been told by one of their commercial customers, sure they operate a building firm as well.
  16. They are very robust, if they are the same setup with the knives then a few nails aren't a problem. Not sure I'd make a habit of throwing pallets through it though . Should be a great machine with the chute
  17. Depends on where you use it, used the tracked version for a while a few years back, great in forest/woodland as chip drops on floor. If it's for domestic stuff it's a pain, you're either shovelling chip up or collecting in bulk bags underneath which is a lot of work. Unless they do one with a chute on now. The plus side it had knife type blades on a shaft that take a lot of abuse, rather than standard type blades that don't like dirt/grit. You could just touch them up with a grinder.
  18. Obviously I'll pay for them, did some voluntary work yesterday and had to go off-road with it on a trailer, hopper bouncing around sheared them both clean off and the one on chute has been damaged for a while. Sure the handles are polystyrene
  19. Was hoping you'd send them me
  20. Best place to get the hopper & chute screw clamp handles/knobs for a cs100, need complete sets of bolts, plastic washer, bush and handle x 3
  21. Ha ha, I mean the wiring on the chipper
  22. Great vid, but at 2:17 would anyone else have made the cut lower down on the vertical piece? Just looked as though it could have swung behind where cut was made and rigging rope be trapped on lanyard/climber.
  23. I'd get some poison or traps down, only a matter of time before they gnaw through a belt or lectrics
  24. As above, Trust Insurance ?? Ive never had to make a claim from them, but they've been consistent and prompt when collecting my premium ?
