Well I was going to paint the fence or mow the lawn, but I thought, sod it and ended up spraying the van. Never did like the blue colour ? just hope it doesn’t rain and wash the Cuprinol off ?

Clearly you are ok there I’d say but we do domestic work mainly with a lot of nosey people about, phones at the ready ?

That’s exactly why we are not out working, takes years to build a successful business but seconds to destroy it on social media. Oh and the fact we’re not key workers, just because we can’t work from home doesn’t mean we can go to work as many people believe, why put family and other people at risk for the sake of 3 weeks.

We do get a fair bit of work from the agent, but just a bad feeling from this job. Tenant wouldn’t even open garage for us to see the underside of the roof. Think I’ll just bin it off and have no stress about it ? or put in the quotation no liability for damage to garage, but doubt they’d accept that (landlord) ?

That’s my issue, more bothered about damaging the roof than anything else, they maybe just want a free new garage ?

That was my original plan, just hope the old roof holds ? landlords don’t like damage ? but love compensation ?

The concrete posts & fence go the length of garages in between the gap, apart from first panel missing. So gap is non existent, unless your a bamboo cane ?, and then there’s the plugs to put in ?

The stems between the garages are the issue, as in how do I reach them. Yes I know they are tiny, but I can’t fit in the gap ??

Been asked to remove 2 small self seeded Ash from the middle of 2 garages. Cut to ground and ecoplugs inserted. Problem being no access at only 16 inch gap wall to wall and concrete posts every 6 foot along dividing boundary between the garages. Could board the asbestos roof and cut as low as possible & poison (working from roof), or is it more trouble than its worth?

Is it not possible to rebuild the small section of wall that's damaged rather than remove the tree? We removed a TPOd tree that was pushing a wall over, however it had a gas pipe running through the wall so maybe that's why it was given the go ahead. We always prefer to retain the tree when possible, but saying that, it's not my wall or driveway ? -
Anyone recommend a good boot that will last? Had my last pair of Airstream for over 2 years but now they're apparently not as good since changing from the Vibram sole. Lasted half a day in the Arbortec scafell lite before they shredded my feet, but some people swear by them. Any feedback on Pfanner Boa or Cervino? or is this just another Stihl or Husky question ?

Don't overlook Greenmech, we purchased the 150p this year and have not looked back. Decided to stick with the same brand after great customer support previous years. I imagine every brand and individual machines will have minor niggles every now and again (I've had to adjust throttle cable as infeed rollers weren't kicking in as rpm was too low). We've only put 70 odd hours on it but it's not missed a beat, we rotate disc blades every 10 hours for even wear and don't think they'll need sharpening for a while. Well worth getting one on demo in my opinion, after all, what's to lose.

We use this alongside a transit tipper for the bigger jobs, just a pain trying to park 2 vehicles, chipper & trailer on your average domestic job though. -
