BNC, cheers for the info. It’s more for the perimeter detection alarms I need. But mine says “cctv exceeded device max analysis channel threshold”

Evening, any CCTV buffs on here? I’m running 5 Hikvision ColorVU 5mp cameras, and trying to set perimeter alerts on 2 of these, but apparently my dvr isn’t fast/capable enough (when I google the error message). Anyone recommend a Hikvision dvr that’s suitable? Don’t want to just guess at one and end up in the same situation. Thanks 👌🏻
  3. Morning all, grey and drizzly in the North West. Given myself the day off and I’m already bored, trip to the butchers to get some goodies, and measure up for a self build roof rack on the d-max canopy. Have a great day all 👍
  4. As the title, anyone running one of the newer ones? If so any feedback. Currently torn between this and the grafter, Iveco swings it with all the extras and the bigger cab but you don’t see many around compared to the grafter. Are they bomb proof or a bag of spanner’s? Looking for long term reliability.
  5. Photo would be great if possible 👍🏻
  6. Potentially sold subject to them getting finance.
  7. Just about to take the leap myself, subject to what a visit to an accountant holds this week, are most people doing domestic work on this post? It is worrying to think customers won’t want to pay the VAT and qo with the cheaper quote though, but at the same time its hassle to remain under the threshold.
  8. Morning all, grey and gloomy in Bolton. A lazy day ahead indoors as to avoid the crowds 😆
  9. Maybe put your location on and someone may offer to help (local tree surgeon) also think about letting them tip off chip throughout the year and add yourself to the local tip site directory on this site.
  10. Did you opt for the 1.9 or the 3.0? Cheers for the info above.
  11. Seems to be the in thing at the moment, there’s loads of ex Asda vans near me with arb backs on, high miles and near the £30k mark.
  12. I’ve just been quoted £48k for a grafter LWB with arb back.
  13. Morning all, apparently I’m a miserable sod for wanting to take the tree down. I don’t dislike Christmas, but I’ll be glad when everything’s over 😂. Might fire chipper up and process some of this leftover food. Have a great day everyone 👍
  14. Looking at upgrading the 08 plate transit tipper as its looking and feeling a little tired now, however both used and new prices just seem crazy since Covid. Can anyone see prices falling anytime soon with all this cost of living crisis, interest rates and a recession on the horizon?. The guy at the dealership says there’s an increase in January of £1000 on a new van, and even the tow bar is an additional item, seems ridiculous you can buy a terraced house in some areas for the price of what they want for a brand new van with a shocking payload. Thinking the sensible option would be hang fire for 6 months and see what happens, in the meantime make do and mend. hope everyone has an enjoyable Christmas and best wishes for 2024 🎄
  15. Happened a few times when we had one, can you smell petrol on the dipstick? I put a fuel tap on the fuel line and used to run it for a short time after I’d turned said tap off. Oh how I miss those days. Hopefully it’s the same thing and no major repair costs. Hope you get sorted.
  16. About? ha ha, yes it came back on Monday and is running like a dream. Huge thanks to the whole greenmech team. For more info on what the issue was, you’ll need someone sensible to answer that like @Jase hutchor @PeteB as I have a memory like a sieve. I’m just happy to have it back and the service I received has certainly made me a greenmech customer for life. Just need to sort a new van then I’ll be upgrading early next year to the 165d or even the 205d, we’ll just have to decide which model suits us best.
  17. Hi, currently have 3 sena headsets paired on our helmets running daily, however, at present we can hear machine/saw noise way more than verbal chat almost to the point they are useless for talking. I’m sure they’ve not always been like this. Anyone else had this issue? Do they need a reset or replacement? I’m at the point of throwing them through the chipper. Any recommendations for comms, are Protos worth the money?. TIA.
  18. All your calls, emails and letters to Greenmech have now been blocked. 😂 😜 There’s a framed picture of an Efi engine en route to you as I type.
  19. Back with Greenmech, no news is good news I believe. In the meantime it’s blocked from my mind 😂
  20. The good news is though, the guys at Greenmech HQ have reached out, and hopefully I’m dropping it off with them next week. I really hope they can finally get to the bottom of the issue. And I really appreciate the help and customer service they have always provided 😇
  21. Erm….I’ve literally just collected it from the ex-dealership near me who had it. They wanted to put a sensor on and labour at £480 total, but the email along with it was worded that there was no guarantee of that being the issue and could need further diagnostic at a further charge. And no refund or discounts for the previous work that didn’t solve this.
  22. Update, it was taken back to my local dealer/workshop on Thursday. I’ll not post who and slate them as they may come good, fingers crossed 🤞🏻 however there was a phone call about it being in full working order when it originally left!!!! and then it may need a wiring loom…..stern words exchanged I went higher up the chain, think someone had a bollocking as when I returned it people were a little sheepish. I’m not holding my breath but hopefully something happens soon. I’d forgotten how ****************ing awful it is mashing brash up on the back of the van 🤪 in this heat ffs. I feel another hire machine is needed to be productive.
  23. On hold to dealership so long I ended up emailing them to say I’m not spending more money or hiring another machine as this issue hasn’t been resolved, 5 hours later……..no reply. “Just bring it” in isn’t really an answer nor an apology. Surely I’m not expected to just keep handing money over week after week 🤔
