  1. Hi Pete, removed the whole gauge. Full tank of fuel in, when I hold the float up to the top and insert the system into the tank as far as possible, then drop the float.....is sinks to the bottom again and reads empty. Can’t see any holes in the float and there’s no fuel in the float. Its a strange one ?
  2. Only fitted a replacement last week but could be a pin hole in it I suppose. Will remove it again to see.
  3. Any idea why fuel gauge reads empty despite being full? Was fine until today. Works fine when removed from tank and manually move float up and down. @Jase hutch also what size socket & Allen key is needed to change blades? thanks

    Arb Body

Anyone considered cutting down the tipper bed (as marked in photo) and welding new corner posts on ready for ally box build, so a tool box could be fitted behind cab without the whole lot tipping?
  5. If you can do it for £8k I’ll have it ?. bit over budget at the moment but thanks ??
  6. Right, upgrading from a cs100. Do i go for quadchip 2009 650hrs, or arborist 150 2014 240hrs, not a vast ££ between the 2 I'm looking at? My only worry with the quadchip is maintenance costs with age/hours even though it's in great condition. ?
  7. Bargain, need a few other bits also, blade bolts & 3 chute/hopper knobs with spacers & bolts. What’s phone number ?
  8. It’s the solenoid, can u pm me a price please
  9. Cheers Jase, will give those a go when I get back
  10. Every time I speak to Jase it ends up costing me money which reminds me I need to order blade bolts and 3 hopper/chute knob/handles
  11. Bought a new Ifor tipper just over 12 months ago, always thought it was a little slow both up and down but now seems to be taking longer to drop down. Any way of speeding it up?
  12. Cleaned up all terminals/connections. Still the same. Terminals on battery are 14.30v when running, 12.90v when off. Solenoid is -12.83v -14.02v when running.
  13. So after fitting a new battery on the Greenmech CS100, worked fine for 4 days but now I’m back to square one. Turn key and you hear 1 click at starter but it won’t turn over. Tested battery and it’s fully charged.
  14. Cheers people, turns out the battery isn’t holding charge, suppose good news is a battery is cheaper than a starter motor. thanks again for the advice
  15. Will give it a smack, I mean tap tomorrow see if it turns over. Cheers
  16. Greenmech CS100 starting issue help, turn key and it clicks just once but won't turn over, fires up fine on pull start and battery is fully charged. Starter motor maybe? its been doing it every so often past few weeks but today wouldn't start with key at all.

    201t

Having issues with my Stihl ms201t, some days it’s great, other days it’s dog shat. Using today for about an hour, move to next cut with saw on harness, try to start and nothing. Even groundy had no luck getting it going. Get home, starts first pull FFS. Not the 1st time it’s been like this. any ideas? Fresh fuel on way to job also
  18. If you're only loading/unloading tools, machinery etc to go to work then I wouldn't worry about it. Sure that's what every tradesperson in the country must do. However if you're repairing machinery on driveway, revving up saws etc on a regular basis then I can see people having issues.
  19. What hung up branch? Yes I did get it down . Few of my small Silky jobs
  20. Just spotted this on FB, let’s hope the owner gets them back
  21. My biggest concern would be allowing my iPad battery to get to 3% sorry, couldn't resist
