  1. I'll guess at 6t >
  2. Don't overlook Greenmech, we purchased the 150p this year and have not looked back. Decided to stick with the same brand after great customer support previous years. I imagine every brand and individual machines will have minor niggles every now and again (I've had to adjust throttle cable as infeed rollers weren't kicking in as rpm was too low). We've only put 70 odd hours on it but it's not missed a beat, we rotate disc blades every 10 hours for even wear and don't think they'll need sharpening for a while. Well worth getting one on demo in my opinion, after all, what's to lose.
  3. He attempted to but got tasered for carrying a knife ?
  4. We use this alongside a transit tipper for the bigger jobs, just a pain trying to park 2 vehicles, chipper & trailer on your average domestic job though.
  5. Safe have a huge range too https://www.safe.co.uk/Categories/tow-bar-hitch-locks/1.html
  6. Bulldog do loads of variations, is make/model stamped on the hitch. Give Barlow's a call, they will sort one out. https://www.barlowtrailers.co.uk/index.php?route=product/search&search=Hitch lock
  7. Hi @Jase hutch did you receive the fuel gauge back? Posted it last week. shaun.
  8. @PeteB @Jase hutch I’ve managed to make one good one from the 2 I have, so all good for now ?. Do you want me to send the faulty one back to you so you can investigate? shaun.
  9. Hi Pete, removed the whole gauge. Full tank of fuel in, when I hold the float up to the top and insert the system into the tank as far as possible, then drop the float.....is sinks to the bottom again and reads empty. Can’t see any holes in the float and there’s no fuel in the float. Its a strange one ?
  10. Only fitted a replacement last week but could be a pin hole in it I suppose. Will remove it again to see.
  11. Any idea why fuel gauge reads empty despite being full? Was fine until today. Works fine when removed from tank and manually move float up and down. @Jase hutch also what size socket & Allen key is needed to change blades? thanks

Anyone considered cutting down the tipper bed (as marked in photo) and welding new corner posts on ready for ally box build, so a tool box could be fitted behind cab without the whole lot tipping?
  13. If you can do it for £8k I’ll have it ?. bit over budget at the moment but thanks ??
  14. Right, upgrading from a cs100. Do i go for quadchip 2009 650hrs, or arborist 150 2014 240hrs, not a vast ££ between the 2 I'm looking at? My only worry with the quadchip is maintenance costs with age/hours even though it's in great condition. ?
  15. Bargain, need a few other bits also, blade bolts & 3 chute/hopper knobs with spacers & bolts. What’s phone number ?
  16. No problem at all, cheers
  17. It’s the solenoid, can u pm me a price please
  18. Cheers Jase, will give those a go when I get back
  19. Every time I speak to Jase it ends up costing me money which reminds me I need to order blade bolts and 3 hopper/chute knob/handles
  20. Bought a new Ifor tipper just over 12 months ago, always thought it was a little slow both up and down but now seems to be taking longer to drop down. Any way of speeding it up?
  21. Cleaned up all terminals/connections. Still the same. Terminals on battery are 14.30v when running, 12.90v when off. Solenoid is -12.83v -14.02v when running.
  22. So after fitting a new battery on the Greenmech CS100, worked fine for 4 days but now I’m back to square one. Turn key and you hear 1 click at starter but it won’t turn over. Tested battery and it’s fully charged.
  23. Dare I ask estimated price tag?
  24. Cheers people, turns out the battery isn’t holding charge, suppose good news is a battery is cheaper than a starter motor. thanks again for the advice
  25. Will give it a smack, I mean tap tomorrow see if it turns over. Cheers
