  1. I’m sure @Jase hutch will be able to advise or @PeteB
  2. Happened a few times when we had one, can you smell petrol on the dipstick? I put a fuel tap on the fuel line and used to run it for a short time after I’d turned said tap off. Oh how I miss those days. Hopefully it’s the same thing and no major repair costs. Hope you get sorted.
  3. About? ha ha, yes it came back on Monday and is running like a dream. Huge thanks to the whole greenmech team. For more info on what the issue was, you’ll need someone sensible to answer that like @Jase hutchor @PeteB as I have a memory like a sieve. I’m just happy to have it back and the service I received has certainly made me a greenmech customer for life. Just need to sort a new van then I’ll be upgrading early next year to the 165d or even the 205d, we’ll just have to decide which model suits us best.
  4. Hi, currently have 3 sena headsets paired on our helmets running daily, however, at present we can hear machine/saw noise way more than verbal chat almost to the point they are useless for talking. I’m sure they’ve not always been like this. Anyone else had this issue? Do they need a reset or replacement? I’m at the point of throwing them through the chipper. Any recommendations for comms, are Protos worth the money?. TIA.
  5. All your calls, emails and letters to Greenmech have now been blocked. 😂 😜 There’s a framed picture of an Efi engine en route to you as I type.
  6. Back with Greenmech, no news is good news I believe. In the meantime it’s blocked from my mind 😂
  7. The good news is though, the guys at Greenmech HQ have reached out, and hopefully I’m dropping it off with them next week. I really hope they can finally get to the bottom of the issue. And I really appreciate the help and customer service they have always provided 😇
  8. Erm….I’ve literally just collected it from the ex-dealership near me who had it. They wanted to put a sensor on and labour at £480 total, but the email along with it was worded that there was no guarantee of that being the issue and could need further diagnostic at a further charge. And no refund or discounts for the previous work that didn’t solve this.
  9. Update, it was taken back to my local dealer/workshop on Thursday. I’ll not post who and slate them as they may come good, fingers crossed 🤞🏻 however there was a phone call about it being in full working order when it originally left!!!! and then it may need a wiring loom…..stern words exchanged I went higher up the chain, think someone had a bollocking as when I returned it people were a little sheepish. I’m not holding my breath but hopefully something happens soon. I’d forgotten how ****************ing awful it is mashing brash up on the back of the van 🤪 in this heat ffs. I feel another hire machine is needed to be productive.
  10. On hold to dealership so long I ended up emailing them to say I’m not spending more money or hiring another machine as this issue hasn’t been resolved, 5 hours later……..no reply. “Just bring it” in isn’t really an answer nor an apology. Surely I’m not expected to just keep handing money over week after week 🤔
  11. It’s been taken to a Briggs Efi dealership whom I bought the chipper off so I’m guessing it should have been plugged in, but can’t say for definite. They’ve told me to take it back but I expect that’s more money and another hire machine.
  12. Fuming……it’s exactly the same as when I dropped it off, only I’m £750 shorter with the repair and hire machine 🤯
  13. Hi Jase, just an update…..collected machine back today, turned out to be 2 burned out relays and a fuse. I hired in a 165d for the week, pretty impressive and on next years purchase list 👍 certainly throws the chip to the back of the box.
  14. Hi, anyone come up with a mechanism for their chip hood when ladders are on the top, so the ladders stay horizontal rather than sticking up in the sky? Sure I can fabricate something but my brain is having a day off 🤪 and thought someone may upload a pic
  15. However as you say I think the next step is to let someone else have the headache 😂
  16. Hi Jase, I’ve already replaced the pump.
  17. Unfortunately for me your assumption was correct, it seemed ok for a couple of days but then went back to being a pain in the arse!!! However, since then I’ve bitten the bullet and fitted a new fuel pump/module, seemed ok yesterday then boom…..back to not starting when warm. Strange thing is though, if I pull the fuel line off the top of the fuel filter for a split second and then push back on, it fires up no problem. I’m well confused and a little poorer than I was last week. Sounds stupid but I just don’t have the time to take and leave it at a dealership.
  18. Hi, honestly didn’t know there were 2 pumps. It’s the one just above the fuel filter. Cost was £114. Looks like this. And yes I have old one still
  19. Hi Jase, yes did a service on it at the same time so all filters and oil and a soapy wash, it’s been spoiled today 😂
  20. Yes, fitted a new fuel pump tonight and it seems to have solved the issue 😇. Started and stopped it a dozen or so times and so far so good.
  21. Hi all, anyone got the belt codes/numbers for an FSI B22 grinder. Just do I can keep spares on the van. thanks
  22. Hi Jase, yes in-line filter changed
  23. Hi, anyone any ideas why chipper starts from cold but sometimes struggles once warm to start up again? But then leave for 10 mins and starts first turn again 🤔. Changed plug and all filters but no joy. It’s a 150 petrol 2019 just over 450 hours. thanks
  24. There was such an easy way to get that moving, but best not tell them how 🙄. Machine was even running on the trailer, thick as shit. Shame it didn’t tip off when they were trying to push it on. Impressive cameras though 👍
  25. Is that a one off payment? And how do they get potential clients for you?
