  1. Yeah looks like he's using his own device wrong. Why have you gone back on yourself creating a tight bend? Sent from my SM-G930F using Arbtalk mobile app
  2. Anybody know of anywhere that does ally tipper conversions in the South West? Google seems to send me to the Midlands. Thanks Sent from my SM-G930F using Arbtalk mobile app
  3. Good man 👍 Sent from my SM-G930F using Arbtalk mobile app
  4. People plant fast growing species because they're obsessed with privacy. Problem being that they assume when it's to the height they want it it'll just stop for them 😂. Personally I love a good beech/copper beech hedge but I'm yet to see a freshly planted one in place of a bloody 6ft high fence 🙁 . ( this may be more isolated to down here in Cornwall, not sure). 5. Part of what makes a good team is having a poor performance but still getting the win . When the kiwis had their unbeatable run they still had a few off days but closed out a win. Hopefully that's the kick up the bottom England needed without actually conceding a victory Sent from my SM-G930F using Arbtalk mobile app
  6. But also like that when I'm done ascending I just lift my foot up and out at the same time and it disconnects. No reason to use my hands Sent from my SM-G930F using Arbtalk mobile app
  7. I use the petzl foot ascender and I've only had the rope pop out once in 4 months 🤔. My friend I bought it off sold it to me because he was fed up of it coming out and bought the CT. Different natural techniques maybe? Sent from my SM-G930F using Arbtalk mobile app
  8. Arguably I supposed if you have the winch on the back it ads to the loads in the butt. Having it on the front would balance out those days you're feeling a bit light on the steering? 😁 Sent from my SM-G930F using Arbtalk mobile app
  9. Fair points. Thanks. That's pretty much what I'm after, people opinions on what they have, pros and cons etc. Thanks you Sent from my SM-G930F using Arbtalk mobile app
  10. Any of you lot got a winch fitted to your ranger mazdas? Sent from my SM-G930F using Arbtalk mobile app
  11. I honestly don't see why most people don't use a simple "wash and proof" every few months. Keeps your jacket clean, breathable and makes the water bead up. Costs less than £20 a year. I have the same opinion on our work boots. Just give them a bit of a clean and chuck some dubbin on quarterly. There's a weird mental block with tree surgeons and a bit of tlc with stuff. Then we rant on forums that things don't last or don't do their jobs properly. I paid about 40 quid for a waterproof jacket from some outdoors shop, reproof it every 3-4 months and it keeps me dry in 95 percent of weather (there's always going to be a limit). Another tip, if it's forecast horrendous weather, take a spare tshirt, always nice throwing that on at lunch ☺. #endofmywaffling Sent from my SM-G930F using Arbtalk mobile app
  12. What's your wife on today Mark? I've got a few chains I'm going to sort out later 😀 Sent from my SM-G930F using Arbtalk mobile app
  13. P.s there's a couple of grease nipples that deserves a squirt every now and then in the joints Sent from my SM-G930F using Arbtalk mobile app
  14. I had the same as this on my 54 plate. Cut it off and had no problems. It's surprising how it being slightly off centered really vibrated the truck Sent from my SM-G930F using Arbtalk mobile app
  15. Oak, strong branches and if you find the right one it'll be good for building your confidence on limb walks. Grippy for your little hands and tootsies too. Tbh the best tree will be one you look at and think to yourself that you can do it. Good luck, you'll have a blast Sent from my SM-G930F using Arbtalk mobile app
  16. What's the biggest bar you fine young men use on a 620sx? Sent from my SM-G930F using Arbtalk mobile app
  17. Those ultra spindly tall, single stem sycs or beech that are leaning over a shed/garage/conservatory/prize winning dog in the wind and rain (maybe not the spikes or barks fault entirely) but always get the bottom clenching Sent from my SM-G930F using Arbtalk mobile app
  18. There's a type of berberis, darwinii i think, looks nice, (fruit and flowers) but the spikes on that mother trucker don't even question welding gauntlets. Cutting that down is a "pitch fork straight in the back of the truck no chipping game". Just my tuppence worth 👍 Sent from my SM-G930F using Arbtalk mobile app
  19. People have the cortisone injection then choose not to rest the injury. Just because you can no longer feel the pain it doesn't mean the injury has gone. The cortisone is supposed break the cycle, reduce the swelling and ease the pain. It will not on its own fix an injury. If you have the jab make sure you rest and allow the body time to heal and also do rehab/massage whatever. I've had three in my shoulder 1-rugby injury (had the jab and carried on as normal) obviously after 3 months the pain was back, so had injection number 2- I rested and performed exercises and it work until I fell from a ladder and tore it again (I wasn't in this line of work then). 3- had the "guided cortisone" using ultrasound to make sure they hit the exact right spot as it was the last one I'd be allowed in one place as it would start to weaken the joint. Sorry for waffling! To summarise - the cortisone jab is a brilliant thing and can sort you out no problem but it's not a magic wand, without rest and rehabilitation, using precautions after you'll just end up having that niggle the rest of your life. (Which is usually when you blame the doctors and say that it's their fault). Good luck chief Sent from my SM-G930F using Arbtalk mobile app
