  1. Zubat is quick in the cut but also leave a tidy wound. I've never had an issue with my gob cuts etc because of the curve. Also the curve give you more pulling in power therefore more efficient. Helps when you're cutting above head too
  2. Do you ever find the zz is engaging more than the rw/taking the brunt of the weight until disengaging the zz a tad? Problem or No?
  3. Never bothered. As the lanyard rope can just be pulled through (was only taking it apart to replace old rope )
  4. I done that with my positioner
  5. Yeah I replaced mine the other month
  6. Everything comes in the package chap. Tools and instructions
  7. Oh, just to level out this "debate". I think there is space for both methods. That's arb. Be versatile
  8. What are you gents finding is the main difference between the longer or shorter tether [emoji848]
  9. (Great if you're doing a lot of work on Euco's [emoji6] not monty pines)
  10. I don't lift weights to help me at work nor do I do tree work to help me lift weights. I lift because I enjoy it. I do tree work because I enjoy it. I believe lifting can be extremely helpful in this job, I also believe sometimes it can be a slight hindrance. I'm 29 tomorrow and have been going to the gym since I was 13 so I've been training longer than I haven't. It's not made me a world class arborist nor has it made me a lump of mess who can't complete a days work. Experience in both is key. Injury prevention is numero uno
  11. Dear God that was slow and cumbersome
  12. Is that 2.3m doubled over? Or is the pulling length only 1.15?
  13. Dumbed down enough [emoji4]. Thanks haha I own a ranger not a landy. Just swatting up [emoji16]
  14. Explain that again skyhuck ( dumb it down even more) learn something new every day
  15. How are people getting on with these now they've had them a while? I'm looking at getting a nipper but really want it to be an echo. How do they compare to the 150 after these days?
  16. Absolutely love my 620sx. Pulling a 24 inch bar atm. Had it 2 years and only thing that's gone wrong is I broke the chain brake handle (my fault)
  17. I'd genuinely like to use Aspen but when I do the math (how many pints equivalent it is) I can't warrant it
  18. Also, Is the health benefits all a bit of a fad. Due to the plastic??? Short sighted maybe. Hopefully not
  19. Is the reason why most people like to buy it in 5l bottles because most people that buy it are none pro. Therefore don't use a lot and like it for the shelf life. My local dealer actually said how it's not worth it on a commercial bases... whoops
  20. I went to buy some aspen on Friday. When I got to my local dealer I asked what price 5l was... safe to say it stayed there on the shelf. I tried [emoji16]
  21. The pub was burning holly last night. When I walked in I assumed they had the radiators on as there wasn't any flames coming from the burner. **I stood corrected on closer inspection. Blasting the heat out, very little flames
  22. Arbtalk proving it's uses. I stand corrected [emoji16]
  23. Black poplar?
  24. Don't "follow" Mr Dempsey. That was my failing [emoji23]
