  1. What about the echo top saws then? As I'm getting convinced by all the echo yay sayers so reckon I'll be trying them out, my next saw I'll be needing to replace is a topper???
  2. 362 is a good saw until it's plunged into something that uses up most of the bar. Then you have to start manually sawing
  3. Oh and don't let your Mrs make the mistake of putting them in the tumble drier because that back flap bit goes all crinkled. No idea who that would happen to though....
  4. Not that I've had the pleasure of using one but from skimming many threads on here the last few months, people are absolutely loving the echo 620 at the minute. Only thoughts from me, are parts easy enough to get ahold of?
  5. I come from HiFlex stihl to these. Had mine about 6 months or so and am happy with them. I always buy the next size up to what fits "perfectly" anyway as I've always found that slightly cooler (temp wise ). Good trousers though, I guess how they fit is a personal preference . And yeah, the belt loop bits are a bit odd though
  6. Intrigued to see the outcome of this. I was so tempted to get the scafells but I didn't want them to not be as good as my profells were. So just got another pair of them as I know they last

    Thanks guys
  8. Last month I parted 3 grand for a Landy that wasn't even for sale. I am 3000 light and Land Rover - less . It's a long story but was a combination of a Gumtree/paypal type scam and me being a moron

What's people's "must read" books? On climbing/knots/trees/fungi whatever?? Maybe I could be enjoying a long forgotton art of turning pages rather than browsing Tinterweb every evening 😉
  10. 50/50 linseed oil and turpentine works wonders
