  1. Yeah I already own a pair so need to adapt them. The stihl hi flex are pretty much the exact same trouser, minus the back flap fyi
  2. Has anyone attempted cutting the back flap out then stitching them back up? I keep getting tempted
  3. Thanks gents
  4. Guys with the 360tes, what bar chain combo are you using? Brand and size
  5. Get wet/cold and finish late
  6. Is this echo still impressing ?
  7. Cornwall
  8. Anyone know of an ifor williams canopy for sale to fit my 54 plate double cab ranger or a good company to contact?? Cheers 👍
  9. I always keep a prusik loop on the back of my harness so just attach that between my bridge and zig zag to get a longer pull then when I get to where I'm heading just reattach it to my bridge
  10. No. They're pretty much the same trouser as the stihl hi flex. Husqy do a pair with back vents though
  11. I've got breatheflex. Good trousers but at the end of the day they're chainsaw trousers so they still bake your knackers when it's hot...
  12. I'll have a slab when you're done Mr Williams . You're a gentlemen
  13. Zubat 390 from honey brothers for me. Although I was contemplating the "sword-like" handle one ( sugowaza I think) to prevent any forward hand slips when wet, as the boys say, nasty piece of kit when it wants to be. ( and before all the super hero's jump on the "you're an idiot if you cut yourself with a silky" band wagon, I'm sure most people know of someone that has, as accidents do happen
  14. There's fields full of them down here in Cornwall Jon. How's that going to affect the farmers?
  15. I seen it. "Heart into your throat moment". Obviously had to rewind it several times too. The speed that he was travelling just before going out of sight then "thud" and screams was frightening . And yeah, he was on a figure 8 but not a clue what went wrong. P.s did you see that birds talons , jeeees
  16. (I know none of you would use a topper on the ground ever ever) :-/ but just a little tip (obviously a friend of a friend of a friend told me)... If you leave the tes on the ground ticking over, the exhaust will start to melt the casing
  17. Just got my results back (early). No need for an operation . So I'm a very happy man. Just need to keep on the rehab and strengthening... sadly still no rugby for a while though
  18. Seen a few daffs down here in cornwall . And a cherry with a couple of tiny flowers
  19. I had an MRI on Saturday on my left knee. Will find out in a fortnight what's going on
  20. I've got a 211. Often gets smirked at for being a "toy saw" but it's never let me down and has paid for itself over and over again. Great for stuff like felling small/mediumish trees and logging up. ( like Joe said, keep her sharp and it ticks the boxes for you)
  21. Hahaha I was just explaining to the Mrs (who didn't seem interested at all and just carried on with the xmas tree)
  22. I recently got converted (because of arbtalk) to echo and bought the 360tes. So impressed from new, looking forward to when it's bedded in a bit more
  23. Prepare yourselves for the can of worms that have just exploded everywhere haha. Stihl fans worship their saws and husky boys worship theirs. All I will say is they're both top of the food chain. I can't help myself though and have to throw a spanner in the works by saying... What about echo?
  24. Shrink wrap the petzl karritool where the metal bit always pops out
  25. Extremely heavy. Extremely Spikey. Extremely sticky (sap looks like pva). Horrible to climb. Horrible to chip. Horrible for fire wood. Lovely tree left standing to look at
