  1. Please try that marlow venom Silky 😁. I'm curious to know if it actually starts self tending at 6ft Sent from my SM-G930F using Arbtalk mobile app
  2. To be honest I hadn't thought too much into it. It's a new chain and I've only given one sharpen. I'll adjust it and see how it goes 👌 Sent from my SM-G930F using Arbtalk mobile app
  3. Fair enough. That's why I was curious, I feel the oregon is aggressive too. Nothing horrendous but enough to notice Sent from my SM-G930F using Arbtalk mobile app
  4. Leaf blower? That'll never catch on 😊 Sent from my SM-G930F using Arbtalk mobile app
  5. R Mac are you happy with the oregon chains? Is it preference on cut or the price? Sent from my SM-G930F using Arbtalk mobile app
  6. Thanks. Haha saved me flicking through 😴 Sent from my SM-G930F using Arbtalk mobile app
  7. Pretty sure I've asked this question on this thread before but doesn't hurt to be updated. What bar and chains are y'all using with your 360s? Sent from my SM-G930F using Arbtalk mobile app
  8. Would that make the Marlow the best contender for Silky's bluetongue 😮. (Don't try and convince him) 😉 Sent from my SM-G930F using Arbtalk mobile app
  9. That escalated quickly 😂 Sent from my SM-G930F using Arbtalk mobile app
  10. It's only my opinion but I'd definitely recommend ZZ as a first mechanical device. It's essentially the hitch climber set up but also self tends better Sent from my SM-G930F using Arbtalk mobile app
  11. All 3 of them self tend, obviously better on a smaller diameter rope than a thicker one. Also run better with pulley saver/rope guide or at least a cambium saver. ART products self tend best I'd say Sent from my SM-G930F using Arbtalk mobile app
  12. Love the ZZ (may seem strange that I'm swapping it then 😁). I'd definitely recommend it if you've never used a mechanical friction hitch before and are looking down that route. So simple to use Sent from my SM-G930F using Arbtalk mobile app
  13. Hey guys. Just wondering if anyone fancied trading their LJ for a ZZ. I love using the ZZ and there's nowt wrong with mine, I just like to try out different things. (So no love lost if no one is keen, just thought I'd ask ) [emoji4] Sent from my SM-G930F using Arbtalk mobile app
  14. Just another thought.. if there's loads of bird boxes in there, any chance they've been screwed in rather than tied in? Sent from my SM-G930F using Arbtalk mobile app
  15. Sorry to jump in on this but does anyone know how much a level load is on the ranger double cab 04 plate?
  16. I once went to the tip when I used to have a little Citroën van. I needed to get rid of my sofa and an old crappy hoover. They refused to let me dump because I was in a commercial vehicle. So I parked up outside, and done what every respectable man would do and called my Daddy. He turned up in his estate, we popped the sofa on the roof rack and hoover in the boot and they let us dump it.... Sad really
  17. 100% I won't be going back to stihl. Love my topper despite the plastic around the exhaust and please don't get me started on my baby (620sx), now there's a saw <3
  18. First time was because I left it running on the ground, this time it's just been through use
  19. I've got the 360tes and the exhaust has burnt through the plastic around it. That's the second time absolutely gutted as I love that saw. Wondering if anyone has this problem/has heard anything?
  20. Just thought... if you're not using a cambium or pulley saver then that may cause some uneven friction
  21. Ultra O too
  22. If you're newish to a zigzag you treat it exactly as a knot as that's auto pilot. I think you'll understand what I mean if you have a play. Tis only my opinion from my experience, give it a go
  23. May sound daft but use your thumb to push down on the very top link apposed to using your finger and thumb like a prusik, it gives you a lot more control . Does that make sense or just jiberish?
  24. You guys on the 11.7.... yale bluetongue? With a zigzag by any chance?
  25. That's probably the best "not beating around the bush" answer forgive my waffling haha
