  1. I don't use mine too much now I srt most things but I can remember a time when I accidently managed to flick my lanyard between the rope and zz, I bombed down a good 10ft, managed to stop myself hitting the deck by grabbing the rope above the zz. My hands were smouldering [emoji16] luckily there was a stream next to the tree so I stuck them in there haha
  2. An absolutely outstanding Baabaas team with freakish skill set, experience, pace, size and strength. Jones will take that game with a pinch of salt with so many inexperienced players in the squad and so many big names missing. What a bloody good game to watch !
  3. Are load handlers still available in the UK?[emoji848]
  4. I replaced the chip rather than flaffing. Sorted all the issues I was having
  5. I think bahco files are the same as valorb. I like them too. Seem to get more sharpens than Oregon. Stihl are rubbish. Feel dull coming out the pack in comparison
  6. Very true. I started lifting 15+ years ago so I know my body pretty well and my mind knows my body. Over the years I've learnt what exercises work for me and what don't. ***note to self, don't do the odd hedge cutting job [emoji23]
  7. I do but I've just picked up a shoulder injury [emoji45] . Doh!
  8. What size hole is best in the 201tcm exhaust Mr Spud?
  9. One thing I found improved my climbing a lot was going back to my routes (as a kid) climbing the tree and not my rope, just remember to tend the slack. Obviously in free space use a foot ascender. If you're in amongst branches climb the bloody things [emoji16]. I think the lovely ddrt options of zz and spiderjack etc self tending so well makes us climb the rope as it feeds itself through (great products, suits many climbers) but SRT has made me really enjoy climbing again, give it ago CLIMB THE TREE [emoji16]. Going back to the rw-zz combo, works really well but I've gone back to a hitch because I like not worrying about side loading or whether the zz is taking most of the strain due to no real sit back. I'll probably still use it on occasion for long ascents for example or if I've just got to pop up to whip an odd limb off or whatever
  10. Same. SRT to access if I've got a good shot. If not quite often I'll double rope before setting up a SRT system to work off
  11. Yale blue tongue or cougar blue ce (I've not tried the latter but it's going to be my next rope i think )
  12. So it isn't a great idea to fit between aspen/motomix and 2 stroke fuel. For example, using Aspen on your own jobs but when subbing use their fuel??
  13. Happy dead lift day to you Mr Fox
  14. Dead lifts! Now we're talking! Best day of the week. The most complete all round exercise in my eyes and the most practical for the real world
  15. Never mind. Found a 201 one
  16. Does the meshy type filter from a 200 fit the 201tcm instead of the "papery " type?
  17. Stiff leg dead lifts and "good mornings"
  18. Remember with squats there is loads of different ways to perform it. Do what suits you best/ best stability/range of motion/form etc. Everyone has different hip/leg/back structures. The way that the 20 stone shredded guy with legs like waists does it may not be best for you. Add weight gradually. Experiment with narrow-wider stances, bar high-low on the back, toes pointing straight-angled etc
  19. While you're still new to squats Silky, up the weight gradually. There isn't a rush. Make sure you nail your form and range of motion. Don't add weight and then only do half ass reps like I see most off the gym monkeys doing
  20. I'm sure one or two trees will still be hauling your ass up it in the future [emoji16]. Good luck
  21. You could do them every day but you wouldn't notice to much gains after the initial newby shock. You should be careful of over training any body part. I'd say squat twice a week if you're that keen Silky or like every 3 days. Why not try back squats Monday and front squats Thursday. Hits the body slightly different
  22. If an accident was caused from the farmer leaving shit all over the road then I think you'll find him liable and prosecuted if proven
  23. You say you don't understand my logic yet have fully understood it and quoted yourself that mud and leaves in the gullies are a problem already... therefore I can not add to that point
  24. I hope they don't start using chip in Cornwall. Every time salt has been spread this winter it's been followed by rain. Anything that has been put on the road has just made it's way off it just as quick. It's been too warm and wet down penwith (imo) to bother wasting any product/money. As for chip, it'll make its way to the side of the road and just turn to sloppy mud and because it wouldn't then be clean up regularly would cause accidents
  25. Get the Mrs on your back and do donkey calf raises Mr Bolam
