  1. This was the state of the sprocket and oiler piston gear......
  2. Hi guys, question for you lot in the know. Have. Mates husky that needs repair on oiler drive gear. Basically he’s a numpty who’s chewed through his clutch drum/sprocket which has resulted in him melting the oiler drive worm to output shaft of engine. Also resulted in a messed up gear on the pump piston too? After cleaning the solidified molten mess off the shaft m in the process of ordering parts to repair it. Does anything go behind the oiler drive worm gear as in a bearing seal/heat shield, or is it just a case of slipping the worm gear on to shaft first? Have had a look on line but can’t find nothing definite. Cheers in advance guys.
  3. They will only be in there to and from a job, won't be left there unnatended. At the end of the day if they wernt there they would be in the tub-even easier for someone to grab one on route.
  4. Reckon it looks ok myself, had enough of my saws bouncing about in the tub.
  5. First attempt at including pic.........
  6. Cluelite Interceptor LED. Self contained battery, nice and light and good for illuminating 'Charlie' for a shot at 200yrds
  7. Coffee pot is great ain't it. Other recommended cafe for breakfast in the area are 'cafe Rhiannon' in cross hands and Hagans in Carmarthen:thumbup1:
  8. Don't think they can John. That's why are a lot are fac'd because they can handle the extra power no problem and with the buddy bottle you still get plenty of shots before refill. Like I say, I'll ask around my shooting buddies, have a gander at the BSA Superten mk2's also-another really good rifle in my opinion. Cheers.
  9. I will ask around for you, am considering selling mine but she's on fac.
  10. Don't look too bad-3 year warranty too.

    Stihl 881?

hi guys, Is there any news that stihl will be bringing out an 881 with mtronic any time soon?
  12. Well I bought 5 litres of aspen today, ran my saws dry with the previous 2 stroke mix and refilled both with aspen. Fired them both up with no problems. Off to attack a few freshly downed oaks tomorrow, will let you know how I get on with it. Did feel a bit odd just refilling saws without mixing fuel though:-) Was a lot more time saving as I'm pretty anal when measuring exact mixes. Paid just over £18 for 5L, as I'm not cutting everyday I can live with the steep price, but for some of you guys who use a lot of fuel I think it's crippling expense. Cheers.
  13. Yeah, a lot of my mates are the same as you:001_smile: I work offshore for a couple of weeks at a time so usually find I have surplus mixed fuel before I'm away again, hate to waste it! Have started mixing smaller amounts which can be time consuming, leads me on to another question, will 2 stroke oil 'go off' if exposed to atmosphere? Thanks.
