  1. Welcome back Pete. Hedge removal/topping here today. Work being quiet has compelled me to take on the sort of stuff I thought I’d left behind. At least it’s only 27 degrees. Au boulot!
  2. Well, yes and no. There are two schools of thought in this case. 1: It’s certainly doomed 2: It could be ok.
  3. I reckon a look at the photos means he very much can comment on the grinding depth.
  4. Yes but you get to keep the tree. First thing to find out (and this belongs in @AHPP’s customer psychology thread) is does the client like and want to keep the tree?
  5. Ah right, didn’t read properly, soz. I still wouldn’t take the tree out. Reduce it in the autumn. As a sycamore it’ll take a decent haircut.
  6. Yes, it is. I’d just document the damage, send the pics to your landlord and carry on with your life.
  7. Playing the victim now? You seem to mistake people disagreeing with you with being persecuted.
  8. I find it funny you don’t even realise you are as bad as anyone on here.
  9. I’ve seen trees survive worse. I’d just wait and see. Any chance of a picture of the whole tree?
  10. You know you have to get King Charles to approve it.
  11. So copy the link, by holding the mouse over it (I don’t know what you’re watching it on ) till it says ‘copy’. Then put a reply on here, double tap till it says ‘paste’ press paste and it should appear.
  12. How are you watching it now?
  13. Even here it’s becoming ‘a thing’ I was asked about it by a client recently, I just said we checked for nests beforehand etc…. It may become a bigger issue in the coming years as more and more people see the opportunity to interfere in other peoples business.

    dogs!

I never wear really good gear out pricing anyway, never know when you have to jump a stream or shin up the inside of a hedge to assess width.

    dogs!

I put my briefcase in front of my family jewels if they’re a jumper, as that’s often the area to receive the initial impact. I know what you mean though.
  16. Warm day for that Dave!
  17. Wordle 1,463 5/6 ⬜⬜⬜⬜⬜ ⬜🟨🟩⬜⬜ ⬜⬜🟩🟩🟩 ⬜🟩🟩🟩🟩 🟩🟩🟩🟩🟩
  18. Spea Speaking of first aid courses at work brings this to mind.
  19. Some jobs you’ll never get, no point worrying about those. Normally when you go to a job the customer will have a figure in mind that they think it’ll cost. During the walk around they eye you up and down, is he competent? Do I trust him? Then, if you price on the spot, as I often do, you come in on or under their imaginary budget often as not they’ll give you the go ahead there and then. Bullet points… Appear competent/confident Get the price right. Bask in the glory.
  20. Good point, maybe we should think about it.
  21. In honour of Pride month.
  22. Let us know what they say!
  23. There is quite a few FB Avant groups that may have more knowledge.
  24. By a forced regen does it sit there, park brake on and rev high on its own?
  25. Yes, all a bit confusing. As I understand it, the ‘increase revs’ regen should work when you are using it, but unless you’re flailing or similar, it won’t work. Have you tried the DPF regen on the button, with it stationary?
