  1. I think they run a bit slower than that, my GM 150 with a 34 hp engine is 1800 rpm when chipping.
  2. My spaniel used to dig down to cool sand as well
  3. Are you saying the “never again” was to war or overeating?
  4. If I said I was fighting them off with a shitty stick, I’d be lying.
  5. It does a bit, some of it from me (I’m sure I shook it enough before putting it back in but the damp circle on my trousers doesn’t lie) It’s one of the pleasures of getting older to moan about the lack of fortitude of todays youth. Its been going on for thousands of years, we had to listen to it decades ago, and there’s more than a good chance you might do it long after us oldies have shuffled off.
  6. Is there a woman involved? If you put Germany in the search function and narrow it down to Thread titles there’s lots of job ads and discussion.
  7. Bumper sticker philosophy.
  8. The cat in the vid has its claws retracted.
  9. 2003 heatwave, I remember it well, we were in Croatia on holiday, miserable heat, ex communist hotel, no air con.
  10. Mafting! And hotter tomorrow.
  11. Things change, the only constant is change.
  12. Good for you, best of luck.
  13. In today’s (but maybe not for much longer) job market, bollocking less than perfect workers is counter productive, they walk, you struggle to find another. All employers are walking a tightrope atm.
  14. He certainly has more than a bit of the devil about him. Generally though, considering he’s a re-home/rescue, we got very lucky with him.
  15. ‘I like what you’re doing, it’s great, I just need you to do it faster’
  16. Quelle suprise!
  17. Surely the macho stuff is what attracts people to the job?
  18. As has been said, an absolute bollocks of an article.
  19. 15 dollars.
  20. If you’re worried whip it out and put another one in. Got a picture of the plant (and hedge) from further away to give some context.
  21. Yellow leaves falling off is quite normal, as is the odd one struggling. My employee sprinkled a bit of Blood, Fish and Bonemeal at the base of his new laurel hedge, seemed to invigorate it he said. I’d pull off the yellowing leaves and you should see new buds underneath. Give it till the end of the summer at least.
  22. Agreed, there was a guy who changed for the swinging hammers on the MO FB page. There was talk of the welded lugs failing. Can’t remember the details. I should try heavier paddles, got to get the plug in bit changed fro MO to Avant first though!
