    Difficult to say, I do work related stuff every day, even Sunday, sharpening, servicing etc. But my yard/workshop is right here attached to the house so it’s easy. On the other hand we finished at midday today so I could watch football. Theres no clear line between work and not work for me, so can’t really vote.

    When Iceland beat England a couple of tournaments back they had a camera in the Welsh hotel. They celebrated like they’d won the WC themselves.

    The only time I’ve encountered narrow boat life is some work I did years ago at Chichester marina. Took some trees out overhanging some over a canal. Interesting, but not for me. You’re experienced at it so it’s eyes wide open. Good luck.

    Every winter on one of our walks I marvel at the autumn fruit of this persimmon in the orchard of a neighbour. How I wish I’d planted one in my garden.

    Obviously I won’t discuss in detail on here my personal tax strategy or finances. One tip I will pass on is don’t skimp on gear/vehicles you buy through the business. Get well known, well supported brands, top spec and take care of it so that when you sell it, either to yourself or for the business it’ll go for good money.

    Yeah I know. But seriously, sometimes people think that our society just occurs by happenstance and we should get access to it for no sacrifice on our part.

    Re. The whole no tax thing. When roaming armed gangs are invading your property because there’s no police. Foreign invaders march unopposed down your high street. Infrastructure, bridges, roads etc. Become unusable through lack of investment. See what use your little bits of paper with numbers are to you then.
