  1. Large diameter grain augers also work.
  2. The buckles. Crimps are too unpredictable.
  3. What waste do you burn? Processor waste?
  4. I find the Knotti difficult to get tight, even pre tensioning. Its a wee bit of a faff as well, I find. Cant beat the proper strapping machine.
  5. I find if you lift the bundles with a grab, rather than with the forklift, they sit a lot better. The ones lifted by the forklift always seem to lean one way. Pre tensioning before putting the banding also helps get them real tight. Nice work
  6. Remote control winch on the 25t splitter is a god send. Do you have a video of the processor?
  7. Time for a clear out arboriculturist, your box is full
  8. Its not impossible to air dry large quantities. I have far more external space to air dry logs than dry internal storage to store kd logs.
  9. Not according to one of my customers. You have to allow for "bulking" "bulking, is the gap left between the round of the log, and the square edge" followed by "dont you know anything"
  10. She is quicker on the pto without a doubt, but more than adequate on the electric motor. I forget how much extra it added, if i can find the quote, i will pm you
  11. I have a generator running 99% of the time to power my yard, so i didnt want to run a tractor and generator at the same time. The splitter has run off the tractor pto once in the past six months, and thats only because i was out splitting in the wood.
  12. Combinarion 25 CD-E, electric motor or pto driven with remote controlled winch.
  13. extremely overpriced, in my opinion. i went for a Uniforest instead and couldn't be happier with it
  14. Thats where i ended up going. It has its pros and cons
  15. 26 stripe vented bag. Cant find prices, was a couple of years ago i bought them. I think they were £8-10 per bag.
  16. Its on the spec sheet, if you click on the link posted
  17. I think it was the 26 stripe type vented bag. I will check as still have some in the shed.
  18. Sg baker do bags that size. I've prices somewhere. I easily got a potato box worth, 1.7 cube in them. They were surprisingly stable when filled with logs
  19. Have you ever bought a bag of chips from a fish and chip shop? No given weight, volume, mass, chip count, etc.
  20. Trak-met processor on ebay. This one has an infeed belt, unlike the one in the video.
  21. Because you don't need a felling license to cut wind blow. If you don't have a felling license, does the BSL recognise this timber as being sustainable? I don't know myself, just wondering if anyone does?
  22. Does BSL recognize wind blow as sustainable?
  23. I got about 25 with mine towing
  24. I have a drum dryer potentially for sale. 1500kgs per hour, has a cyclone which separates the fine dust. The fine dust can then be put through a briquette press
