  3. But if your boxes hold 1.7cm, why advertise 2cm loads, why not advertise/sell them as 1.7cm loads?
  4. Why is holding 2cm so much better than holding 1.7cm?
  5. Seeing is believing right enough. Maybe sit to one side of the stove, just incase.......
  6. Not really recommend. You get a build of of gases and when they ignite cause an explosion, usually blowing your stove doors off.

  17. You could easily make a ramp. The back plate is the same height as the splitting wedge when its fully lowered. The chamber is quite big as well, so you can cut three or four, then hand ball them out.
  18. Makes a huge difference a winch on a splitter, wouldn't be without it
  19. Sorry to diverse, but i have some 15ish inch lime sitting in the yard, approx 3m long. Is this worth anything? Or just firewood?
  20. [ame] [/ame]
  21. what size of machine are you fitting it on?
  22. I think a Multitek machine would benefit from having multiple splitting wedges in one. Rabaud, for example, who offer 2/ 4 / 8 / 16 splits, without changing the wedge. This would be a HUGE time saver, in my opinion, and would make the machine far more appealing.
  23. Yeah. £400 for a full 7 days, hitch and hoses included.
  24. I'm gonna hire a cone splitter for a week and put it on a 7.5 tonner to see how well it works. I've some well seasoned big Elms, so it'll be interesting to see how she gets on.
