  1. The 2 tonner has extendable track width, from the top of my head 900-1200mm wide. Dunno if that's standard.... 99 times out of 100 the machine is working with the tracks fully extended and the machine is solid as a rock. When they are closed right in its still very stable, although you do "bob" about slightly, but in all fairness, you'd have to do something pretty stupid to topple it. The cabs are a nice size on these machines, comfortable to sit in.
  2. I have the 2 tonne machine with the tilting base. Its a 2007 machine, and has done alot of work, with no problems. Brilliant machine, loads of power compared to others in its class. Also have the 7.5 tonner, zero tail swing, and again I cant fault it. Good solid machines. Everyone laughed when I bought them...... How times change
  3. Thanks Sharon, I will give them a phone today.
  4. Fyi, Caledonian Forestry had a second hand Posch splitter for sale recently. Don't think it was on an axle, but might be worth a phone call if your in the market.
  5. I used: Kuehne + Nagel before. They were very helpful, and i think it was in the region of £1500 for a 45 foot shipping container.
  6. Its been on ebay and gumtree quite a few times. Tried to buy it off gumtree last year, and got the same "did not want to handle cash" I thought it might be the Queen, she isnt keen on handling cash, so iam led to believe

  12. I quite like it, but got my hearts set on the 50
  13. Works out about £1.40ish extra per post, do you think its worth the money?
  14. Has anyone used these before? Do you think its worth the extra moneys? Creosote posts - Davies Implements
  15. Ok thanks, interesting. I knew they added sand, didn't realise just how much. That explains why the planing's go all mushy after time. Sorry, slightly off topic. I think £6 a tonne is cheap. I was on hire with a crusher last week and it was costing £7 per tonne to hire.
  16. What's the other 40% of the road planing's?
  17. Slap the belly and ride the waves
