  1. We had frost on Saturday morning and this morning. Now she's howling and chucking down ice cold rain. Cant beat a Scottish summer
  2. What about a screw splitter or wood buster on a 360 or forklift/loader, to bust up the big stuff, then stick it through the processor? No cross cutting, but probably more waste?
  3. I went for a vertical 25t splitter with a winch for the oversized. Iam very pleased with it, and it works very well, as a one man operation. The horizontal Posch looks a good machine
  4. Mobile plant is mobile plant, and mobile plant runs on red
  5. Surely its mobile plant, and mobile plant can run on red, as per cranes, lorry mounted chippers, diggers etc?
  6. What processor are you upgrading from?
  7. [ame] [/ame] Around £30ish k A whole load of machine for the cheddar.

  9. How much you reckons ?
  10. I wonder what the price difference is between this processor, [ame] [/ame] and the splitter. I know which I'd rather have sitting in the yard
  11. Looks like it has two eyes, you can see two red dots on the stick. The Pilke 42 has a laser eye, and its useless at producing accurate length clogs. Never use it.
  12. It looks good in the video, shame it doesn't cut a larger diameter though
  13. F80 working in Scotland someway, past it on the back of a lorry heading North.
  14. Ok, thanks
  15. Is Swedish Redwood, pine?
  16. Phone PayPal, they are usually helpful
  17. [ame] [/ame] That's some good work!
  18. What you digging for?
  19. Well done R5, full marks
  20. There's always one. Where you based Chris?
  21. Add the cost of the bag onto the price, then that way the customer is paying for the bag. I leave my bags with the customer. 99% give me the bag back, and i re-use them. Its win, win
  22. Looks like a whole load of back ache and time to empty them
  23. Yup, uses hydro to lube the chain, from a separate hydro tank. Holds 7 litres or so.
  24. Pilke uses about 5 litres of hydro a day. I've probably more hydro oil in me than blood now.
