  1. Mate had one. He thought it was brilliant. Think Riko have a deal on an ex demo one
  2. Cut points on them, and chap them in. If you dig a hole with a digger, the strainers will be slacker than clowns selves.
  3. Ok. What has your kiln increased your annual throughput too?
  4. Not quite sure Offgem would agree, but hey ho. Burning wood, to dry wood, to burn in a kiln, to dry more wood, to be burnt, seems a little double Dutch to me. I can see the logic in Renewablejohns system.
  5. I was of the impression this was not allowed? I have heard from quite a few RHI claimants, that your not allowed to dry the fuel you burn in your boiler?
  6. 2.2 or 3.2?
  7. Do you tow the 8 tonner on behind the mog with a low loader?
  8. I like the look of the boxes better than the processor.
  9. Forestry winch | eBay
  10. Aldi, B and M, Home Bargains etc have killed a lot of it, in my opinion. They all sell kindling etc for dirt cheap.
  11. That a merle collie pup in your avitar?
  12. More machines on the go?
  13. The 2 tonner has extendable track width, from the top of my head 900-1200mm wide. Dunno if that's standard.... 99 times out of 100 the machine is working with the tracks fully extended and the machine is solid as a rock. When they are closed right in its still very stable, although you do "bob" about slightly, but in all fairness, you'd have to do something pretty stupid to topple it. The cabs are a nice size on these machines, comfortable to sit in.
  14. I have the 2 tonne machine with the tilting base. Its a 2007 machine, and has done alot of work, with no problems. Brilliant machine, loads of power compared to others in its class. Also have the 7.5 tonner, zero tail swing, and again I cant fault it. Good solid machines. Everyone laughed when I bought them...... How times change
  15. Thanks Sharon, I will give them a phone today.
  16. Fyi, Caledonian Forestry had a second hand Posch splitter for sale recently. Don't think it was on an axle, but might be worth a phone call if your in the market.
  17. I used: Kuehne + Nagel before. They were very helpful, and i think it was in the region of £1500 for a 45 foot shipping container.
  18. Its been on ebay and gumtree quite a few times. Tried to buy it off gumtree last year, and got the same "did not want to handle cash" I thought it might be the Queen, she isnt keen on handling cash, so iam led to believe
  19. that the one on wheels?
  20. Thanks for the heads up. In North East Scotland
  21. I've seen that quite a few times before, never fails to amuse
  22. £30 a tonne you'll get chip wood delivered in at that kind of money. I used to buy slabs at £8 a tonne. They are a lot of work and faf
