  1. I'm using an l200 with 3 tonne plated trailer and as far as I'm aware I don't need any taco or operating licence?
  2. I think you want more than 4 to help with the Google ranking system. From what I understand it wants to see plenty of decent, original information to rank you better. But 10 decent pages is better than 100 bad pages. Not really sure this is what the guy doing mine said. Hopefully finished soon!
  3. that's too far too young. a good enough reason to make people think again. Goes to show we all need to be careful.
  4. The gx engine is a commercial engine so will last longer and be more reliable the the gc
  5. Sounds like the carb needs adjusting to me. I'd take it to local lawnmower repair place they should have it up and running in no time
  6. I would want it dry but just wanted to know if what was stated was wet or dry weight! Reason I ask as well is where I buy sand / soil / aggregate it's all loose and stored outside so it's dry if it's dry and not if its not so to speak. I've never really paid that much attention to the weight as I just ask for a trailer full and then pay what they ask for!
  7. Is that dry or wet for the course sand?
  8. That's the big problem I see with hydro mowers great when working expensive if they break. I've been lucky with my Honda mowers no problems at all except someone nicked the dead mans handle off one last week!!
  9. You may be able to get the hydro pump mended by a specialist but it will be an expensive job:( What mower is it from a ride on or a walk behind? And how much is the new pump? I've got a huge toro ride on (7ftcut) and that's my biggest worry(having the main pump go) as they are a grand!!!
  10. There is the waste to power station they may take it not sure worth asking
  11. Lindum in saxilby just of A57 not cheap though
  12. The very low vibration stihl brushcutters are the very expensive ones. The ones typically used by the council are the ones fs400 or equivalent. Will cost about £900- £1000.
  13. Hi thanks all The budget is more in my head than anything else as I do have money left in the tools budget so I would rather buy something better and pay more. I would like it to last as long as possible really but it will only come out maybe 12-15 times a year so not much use really. I had a quick look at the echo saws and they seem to have good warranty on them. 16 inch bar is the maximum I would use as I don't go near big trees. It's really for logs, small takedowns and small wind blown trees.
  14. Hi I'm looking to get a new saw slightly bigger than the ms170 I have. Only for occasional use. Any recommendations would be appreciated I have thought about a Stihl Ms 180 but interested In other ideas. Want to spend around £200 but can stretch the budget for the right saw. Many thanks
  15. Thanks all I suppose the next question is where I get one from? If it will take the strain off my shoulder it will be brilliant, I was just tiding up a privet hedge today small and low and even that made my shoulder ache, so I think I need something to take the strain as I have lots of big hedges that I do in the autumn. I will search for these other threads Many thanks Richard
  16. Hi has anyone used the easy lift harness I'm thinking about getting one as I have a bad shoulder and I'm wondering if it will be helpful for hedge work. Any views would be great thanks.
  17. I would hate to strim all day long
  18. I don't think I've ever read such a pile of c***. You should be ashamed of yourself. Corruption is holding most of these people back.
  19. It would also depend how thick it was and how wet it is but you could strim hundreds of sq m in a day with fs400
  20. Over how many years? I've no idea what any of the nations "owe" of the debt. Maybe we should have a referendum to see if we want the scots to stay?
  21. What's fairly shared?
  22. As I said I do believe in the safety net. It may be that my view is simplistic in fact I know it is. I do struggle when things aren't black and white yes or no so to speak. I do think that many people who are disabled (in some forms) can still work in some capacity. My mums boss for example was blind. I was brought up to work hard and reap the rewards 30 years down the line not next week if that makes sense?
  23. Why do you resent the people like me who want to make their own way in life?
  24. Have you tried upping the revs on the idle screw? That should make it go quicker. Carb may need a clean if it's been sat. It may be junked up from stale fuel
