  1. I can sort of see that but is it really enough to make a difference? Serious question as I've always too much oil was better than too little ?
  2. Wow that's bad news hope they can do something for you. Sorry to hear this
  3. We had 5 over the years on the farm and to be fair they only broke down when you used them😀😀 But more seriously they were good for driving round the farm but on the road not so good but you can't have everything !
  4. I don't bother but then my wife has a better paying job than me😀 So if I was to be sidelined for any reason the bills would still be paid. I can see why people would have it though! But £66 a month seems a lot
  5. That proves my point. They aren't bad for the actual work they can do but they are uncomfortable, rattle like mad and are forever broken down. But when they are working they won't get stuck😀😀
  6. I'm thinking 2k but then people get stupid over land rovers for a reason I can't fathom😀😀😀
  7. So if you don't mess with a switch on the hub the 4wd won't com on?
  8. 👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
  9. Yeah I knew that much as my l200 had no centre diff and that would scrub tyres if you left it on by mistake after coming off a field for example onto a road
  10. Ok thanks. What does it need to be set to? For normal driving and getting out of trouble?
  11. I'm going to admit to being really thick now! What's a free wheeling hub and how would it help? Also do I have one on my navara as I got it stuck not long ago with trailer on and it took an hour to free myself!
  12. Trying to reason with the unreasonable is pointless so I give up and maybe you will go away
  13. The hole he digs gets bigger
  14. What does it take to get banned from this site?
  15. The new style dad drives is better according to him but that's not to say the old one was bad as he only changed due to being involved in a motorway crash which wrote the old one off!
  16. It sounded like a scam to me. But maybe I'm just cynical!!!!
  17. It's better than the old one in nearly every way so he says. He tows a 14ft flatbed with it with no problems and also a very big 2 horse box that has space for driving carriage as well. And thats fine too he also got a big twin axle caravan that toes well. He likes it not brilliant on fuel towing but what is.
  18. I run mine in whatever the local garage has when I need some!! I run mine on 35:1 though not 50:1 Hedge cutter getting aspen from now on though
  19. Can you not put a bolt straight through it and put a nut on the back?
  20. That's an amazing story proves that the old simple stuff can be looked after and still be useful. How long would a modern Lorry last before becoming too expensive to repair with all the modern systems on board?
  21. I'm not sign written either does that make me a thief? Even pulling everyone now and then would not help as I probably could not find the receipt for everything I've collected up over the last ten years some stuff I bought when starting will not have receipts as the books are gone now from the first couple of years
  22. That makes more sense as it looked like buying and splitting for £9 £9 for bagging up is fine as you say 5 mins work. 😀😀 I thought you were working for nowt on them !!
  23. Not me but the way I read it is 149 to get the stuff in then split it in 2 and then sell for £158 it don't add up to me😂😂
  24. Is it worth it for £9 less expenses? How do you make any money at that.unless you are selling 200 a day plus delivery charge.I'd rather stay in bed
