  1. No idea😀😀 don't even know what one look like😀
  2. 😀I don't do this but if it's £100 a cube that's 2 k a month not being processed
  3. That's 20 cube a month though would that not make a difference?
  4. I think you are wrong on your last point! It's part of American culture that needs to stay over there if you ask me!! No offence intended but the ambulance chasers are something we can live without !
  5. I went to London last month and I lost count of how many trees that line the roads have caused cracked/ lifted pavement. No problem if you look where you are going. On that basis should all these tree be taken down and replaced with ones that only grow to a certain height?
  6. The first person to trip over slightly raised pavement should be sent to specsavers leave the tree alone just cut back as requested by the council.
  7. It's a sad world we live in when we have to think like that👎
  8. You both put me to shame!!! I really should try harder as 60%of my earning come from mowing. Having said that I'm happy enough paying £500 a year for walk behind mowers. The ride on mowers get more care washed weekly, and they are blowed clear of grass at day's end. They are cylinder mowers though so no deck for grass to get stuck to and fester!!
  9. Wow your much more in control than I am!! I wash mine down st season end and paint and service them. I would be washing mine everyday if I did as you do its just not time effective for me!! Yours no doubt last years though!! Mine would last 3-4 years I think. But I replace after 2 years and strip the used ones for spares as I always buy the same again so I have loads of spares
  10. I could not get near that money for grass cutting with 7ft ransomes highway mowers never mind smaller tractor type mowers!! I live in the wrong place!
  11. I do similar to you slow the pace down there is no rush this time of year. Save some stuff for the the slower months. Won't be long until it all starts again. Doing last grass cuts this week and next week. Then 10-12 weeks and it's time to start again!!
  12. I had to do that a while back its rubbish👎 Took me 2 hours to get myself out. No pics though😀
  13. Maybe put some copper grease or other spray grease on the underside.
  14. I'm not the one comparing. It's just a fact that you can't pay everyone the same. I was responding to eggs talking about his nephew being an upholsterer !!
  15. 😀😀 What's wrong with calling jobs what they are anyway?
  16. Sorry 😀😀 Can't do the brick thing though as I don't have a chipper😀😀😀
  17. Could you sweep in onto grass and then mow it up?
  18. That's 33k which is bloody good money, that is a skilled job more so than dragging brash. It seems that is in the range of what is being paid to climbers. It would be great if everyone could earn that money. However everything would go up in price to reflect this I think?
  19. Companies can only pay at the rate the market dictates. If top money for a day's work is £500 (example) then if you have a climber and the boss and maybe someone dragging brash. That's 3 wages and running costs. Where can you get profit from that if you are paying people £20 an hour. Which I would consider to be a good wage for paye. I think that's why people are paying £10-£15 an hour. No point in the stress of running the business if your only covering costs!
  20. That shows how wrong the system is!! I don't blame said big suppliers they will take what they can and I would do the same.
  21. I must have been looking at the us site or I've misunderstood at some point !! Still the 300 series is enough for me I think as its not used all day every day. I don't know the weight difference I think I will look more carefully !!
