  1. https://www.gov.uk/late-commercial-payments-interest-debt-recovery/charging-interest-commercial-debt It seems if a different is written in its OK if reasonable. Otherwise b of e base plus 8% This applies to business to business. I'll try and find the rules on business to private individual
  2. I'll try and find it it was 3 or so years back. I was thinking of taking someone to court over £150 but could not be bothered with the hassle! I just warned all the other tradesmen I know to steer clear!
  3. That's a shame👎👎 Hope you get sorted on insurance as coppers aren't going to be chasing them are they👎👎
  4. Or some toothpicks😀😀
  5. Bad news any cameras nearby or on site?
  6. I don't think that's allowed I found some stuff on trading standards website I think it was. It's very weighted in the customers favour or it was when I looked into it some time ago
  7. My dads got the new style ranger on a 14 plate and he likes it better than the old one he had before and the Navara he had before that
  8. I'd be nervous about remapping as the engines have been designed within the tolerances of materials and mapped as such! I'm sure as well that they are conservative in the way they map them so as to not have problems? I would not do mine but then it's new and under warranty. I change mine every 3 years as they are leased and I don't want the hassle if they break down at least under warranty you should be ok.
  9. Just to say I got myself a bottle of the 2 stroke aspen and I will be using it from now on. At least with the hedge cutters. Also think I'm going to up my price a bit and use it for all 2 stroke kit from next year. I like not having that 2 stroke taste when hedge cutting!! So another convert:-)
  10. Yes hear what your saying about the computers!! At the end of the day it does not really matter though as I still have to use it so I've git to pay for it. You can't expect 2 tonne vehicles to be that good on fuel if you want to actually use them for work.
  11. First tank might not make a difference but from second tank I noticed the difference . Figures are from truck computer not old fashioned calculating though
  12. I maintain a pub garden and new manager started last week. I was about finished and he came out and asked for an invoice which I have him 5 mins later comes out with cash!! They have normally paid by cheque about a month after invoice! Could not believe it
  13. It has to be reasonable and 10% per day isn't. I looked into this when I had a problem 3 years back. I'm sure it was along the lines of Bank of England base rate plus 4%
  14. Careful with 10% per day I'm sure that's not even legal as its 3650% Apr
  15. I think you should wait it out a bit. Give them some time and as you say good things may come
  16. How long does it take to sort out?
  17. Probably a table saw that's how they do it at my local place
  18. Also have a look at timberland pro work boots I have some and once broken in they feel like slippers. Bit prices but worth it if your on your feet all day mind have air sole type things in them
  19. I did put a smile on it so should have been seen as a joke! Only people that know you can possibly know that you fell from a tree. Which is bad news in itself. The way your post read to me (wrongly) was that you could not be bothered to undo shoe laces. My apologies 😀 If you don't need ankle support why not try some safety trainers not tried them but st least you won't have loads of laces to undo. Or rigger boots as they have none😬
  20. Thanks for the quick reply! It may be a stale fuel problem or even something sticking in the end plate cog area. Problem is I don't use it nearly enough it comes out a few times a year! Petrol has been in since April and that will have been mixed with some from last October. I'll check the cogs first and may get lucky. Can you get carb kits for them? The machine is not that old and it now I think on it it's not a Suffolk punch I don't think it's a green one with a Briggs engine. I'll have to nip down and find out. Thanks Richard
  21. Also try running some v power through it that's the only reason I get that mileage
  22. It's probably the auto box making it drink the juice. I get 25 towing in my 2.5 190hp navara
  23. Help please! I've got s Suffolk punch 14 that I use as a scarifier with the cassette. It's just started to die under load. It starts fine then when I engage it just dies. It's getting fuel but I don't want to rip into it without some idea of what's wrong. Many thanks for any tips in advance
  24. democracy's problem is that everyone gets to vote
