  1. I just deleted it. Don't need friends like that!
  2. Can you include the diameter of the spouts please?
  3. Trouble with that is the Stihl ones don't fit either!
  4. None of this tells me whether the spout will fit in an Echo filler cap!
  5. You are welcome. If anyone can, it's them
  6. If you are in Kent, have you tried Garden and Orchard in Faversham. Best Echo dealers around and get parts for me overnight if they're not in stock. Knowledgable and extremely helpful.
  7. I'm even further, Kent!
  8. 5.6 here. Do I win??? ;)
  9. The '050' of the lo-pro chain is the gauge of the chain rather than the kerf Liam. That is the thickness of the link that fits into the slot on the bar. The kerf is the width of the slot that the chain makes in the timber as it cuts, and is significantly wider than the slot in the bar! More like 5/16" although it is variable with who sharpened the chain, how well the saw is set up, chain tension, bar stiffness etc.
  10. Don't forget Si, that the bandsaw will cut those 4 boards while you're cutting the first one with the chainsaw Price is job dependent, but you are probably not too far out.
  11. Cutting at 25mm thick, I get an extra board every 3. That is, the timber I'd have got three boards from the chainsaw (Stihl 660/ 30" bar) will produce 4 boards with the bandmill.
  12. Do I have to repeat myself? ;) See below
  13. Nah! With all that rot going right up the middle, he wants to let me have it for £50 :001_rolleyes:
  14. That can lead to some funny places! For instance, I ended up HERE
  15. Nice one Simon :-)
  16. I bought from these guys late last year for my Berlingo. Proved a fairly easy fit with good instructions and, although I diodn't need it, a phone helpline. My van is rated to pull 1100kg and it happily pulls a Timberwolf 190, plated at 1050kg, so no hesitation about recommending them.
  17. Many industrial bandsaws have a 12" depth of cut. Couple of roller stands to take the weight and away you go. :)
  18. I can get to Woodmizer UK's Kent headquarters in 45 minutes from here. Can't quite do that to Sweden! :thumbup1:
  19. £2750 + the dreaded, so £3.3k Built it onto an existing trailer which cost another £300 in bits, so basically under 4k working. No, I didn't enquire about the bigger model as more ££ was just not an option. It had a few quirks and a couple of bits of info missing from the manual that would have made building a bit easier, but overall I'm pleased considering the price. Woodmizer UK have been great sorting out the little teething problems (mine was from their first batch), so very happy there.
  20. I've got the Timbery M100, supplied by Woodmizer UK, and the same price as the Woodland. Overnight blades and spares have a lot to be said for them. As I understand it, the Woodland stuff has to come from the states! Definitely greater yield and much more economical on fuel than a 660!
  21. If you've got the welding skills, you'd be far better off building a bandsaw mill than anything that uses a chainsaw. There are a number of vids on utube building the saw, you just have to incorporate it onto a trailer. For that, make sure there are plenty of adjustable supports and that the mudguard/wheels don't get in the way of loading the mill.
  22. Sorry Steve, thickest board is only a fraction over 2"
