  1. Unless it's our one! 🙂
  2. Shouldn't that be on the overloaded thread?
  3. Thanks Ben, that's good to know.
  4. Thanks Al, I'll look into that , though I hate to think what they would do to me if they caught me overweight on a down rated truck. Better to be overweight on a smaller truck I would have thought.
  5. I'm looking at buying a 6.5t tipper so I can tow a larger chipper and still be under the new 8250kg limit. A 7.5 t truck would only permit me to tow a 750kg chipper which isn't big enough. Does anyone have any experience of these? I am looking at a couple of Iveco ones with the 3.0l engines but wondered if the Japanese alternatives would be better/last longer? I would welcome any feedback. Thanks
  6. That's a very pretty looking mog. And some serious machinery. Good pics, thanks for sharing
  7. That's cos they don't have Tarmac east of Moscow.
  8. Of course, we had it REALLY hard......
  9. I reckon it would be have to be a rather large truck to collect that much laundry.
  10. The reason is that the the FA completely lost its way some time ago. It's the gravy train culture and also a factor in why the national game is in such a dire condition.
  11. That would be an inspired choice Rich. Sadly, I fear that we're really going to be scraping the bottom of the barrel now. Sam Allardyce .... Hardly a stellar appointment was it? We have the ingredients of a half decent team but we lack a winning mentality and culture. The problems go right to the top of the FA and don't stop there. When you see the players walking onto the bus and everyone of them has on a set of headphones you can see the lack of oneness within the team. The whole culture is wrong
  12. Not surprising at all when you consider Russian KAMAZ trucks are probably the best in the world. They used to win the PARIS DAKAR RALLY every year. [ame] [/ame]
  13. Thanking yer lucky stars for tinkers and pellets 🙂
  14. VI. WereonGodsgreenearthavyabin? £20k? That's almost the price of a barrel of lager over there.... Good to see you posting again... You've been missed.. 👍👍😇
  15. I'd agree with Mull on this one.. My Mrs has bad asthma (not that you get "good" asthma) and she has never had to have injections for it. I think it's called "working the system" in the same way that a corporate tax lawyer would work it. Is it legal? Yes (just about) Is it right? ..........
  16. He should look on the bright side... The only England manager with a 100% success rate.
  17. Ally krabs for climbing/ppe Steel for rigging, (the exception being DMM revolvers for speed lines) keeps it simple. At least that way I can be certain that I'm not hanging off something that's possibly been clattered in the past,.
  18. That's right. Imagine how careful you would be in speedo trunks.
  19. Friends in high places? 🙂
  20. Anyone can sling a pulley and rope in a tree and hang branches off it. The real question should be does the person know how to calculate your SWL on any given system in regards to safety factors and cycles to failure. I'm not suggesting that you don't by the way. Just some thoughts 🙂
  21. DMM ultra O carabiners are arguably the best fit for the DMM hitch climber pulley. The "rapide" model has bearings in it rather than bushes. Don't get the equivalent ISC oval caribiners as they don't fit. Hope this helps.
  22. Thirsty beast if it's the V8 petrol one. Cracking looking truck though. Right up your street. 👍👍
  23. I hope you haven't done the same to mine! 😇😎 (Although I know the spring is bent!)
  24. It's got to be worth a look. A big part of quoting jobs is learning to read the customer. There are usually warning signs if they are going to be difficult about job specs/payment. I always laugh when people say "do me a cheap price as I have lots of work for you". As if you're really looking for lots of cheap work 🙄
