  1. So now he's getting indoctrinated in a completely different set of beliefs 🙄
  2. Any colour you like as long as it's Aspen blue... 😊
  3. I believe he can be found by those who genuinely want to find him.
  4. Not really. If God is real and he really has created the universe then is it realistic to expect to be able to fathom all he is with our limited finite minds?
  5. Prefer to meet up one day. I can't type quick enough for this one 👍😊 What I will say though, is that science has not been able to categorically eliminate the possibility of a creative intelligence. So in my humble opinion it is bad science to completely rule out the possibility. I will agree to disagree with you VI. Besides... My battery is nearly gone. 👍
  6. Here we go again 😊. I wondered when you would show up! Darwins finch's beaks! Micro evolution maybe, but there is scant if any evidence of macro evolution. Even if there were, when are you lot going to finally create something from nothing in a lab? Then we can all get some much needed rest! Missed the banter VI 👍
  7. I know. It's funny how tiny Israel is portrayed as the evil aggressor in the region. Like you say, Ted, they are surrounded by countries committed to their destruction. And yet against all the odds, there they are.
  8. It will certainly be interesting to see how the new administration will interact with Israel. It's also interesting to note that (as far as I am aware) there is little if any IS activity in Israel.
  9. And likewise J. I really struggle with having to listen to the philosophical prejudices of the likes of Dawkins et all but I am getting better at it though. Hitler's final solution was a result of his Darwinian worldview (religion) so we can both argue that one! Stalin's religion of atheism resulted in countless millions dying as well.
  10. No one should have religion forced on them. Especially in biology class!!!
  11. Many of my relatives died in the Nazi Holocsust, so you can spare me the lecture on oppression. I don't agree with everything that Israel does. In just the same way that I don't agree with everything that Churchill did in his early days. I'm still glad for them though.
  12. Because when it comes down to it your beliefs are based on your faith in "educated" guesswork. It's not what you believe in that I find arrogant , J it's the way you look down on others who don't share your opinions.
  13. Or the equally implausible belief that "all of this just happened completely by accident and random chance" You forgot to mention Palestinian rockets fired from schools as well while we're on the subject of breaking laws.
  14. Possibly one of the most arrogant and naive posts I've ever read on Arbtalk
  15. AV certainly know how to press down hard with the pen!
  16. Hi Jonny. Those arms got bent when the chipper got whacked on a speed hump. It was a fair old impact as the top link completely snapped in two. The red ratchet ones we replaced them with are rated to 3tons (I was told by the mechanic who did the job) The originals certainly look more sturdy though. TImon
  17. 20 guys in various stages of recovery from addiction share our house. (My wife and I oversee a men's recovery house) Never a dull moment and hugely rewarding. "It's not good for man to be alone"
  18. Sad but true. We've taught a whole generation (or two) to be completely helpless. Now it's the norm and the the liberal agenda will defend the "rights" of the helpless over any kind of intervention.
  19. Ha ha. Customer asked for it to be done in two stages due to a lmited budget,
  20. I've got one of these, it's slow for sure but so is the traffic round here. Makes the same amount of progress as a Porsche on the M42 on a Monday morning/evening 🙂
  21. Ha ha. Not sure I'm looking forward to part 2 🙂
  22. Not the nicest of climbs for sure. (Although I did enjoy it in a crazy kind of way 🙃) My foots taking its time to heal. In the tree it's not so bad as my weight is suspended a lot of the time. It's when I'm on it for prolonged periods it starts to hurt. Thanks for asking 🙂👍
  23. I think the Clinton campaign hit its nadir when Beyoncé and Jayzee hit the platform. It really shows a dearth of understanding into what really matters to the average working man or woman. Most of the people I talk to in the course of everyday life are sick of having an aggressive liberal agenda and political correctness rammed down their throats. Trump was the backlash.
  24. Stinking, rotten, ivy covered oak to do today. First proper climbing job since I broke my foot. Up in the top there was a lot more ivy than tree.Little bit of rigging but mainly free-falling stuff. Big thanks to Richie R for his hard work.
  25. I had some dessert called "Eton mess" recently. I'm beginning to wonder if it really was that nice now 😕
