  10. If you charged more then you wouldn't have to keep your fingers crossed to make profit, 510 for 3 men Plus chipper is way to cheap.
  11. Oh I forgot, that might be the only big job the guy has for months, some guys just scratch a living in this game.
  12. That's why I would be wanting £1500 minimum for that job, loads of people in this job moan about the price of machines and kit, lo wages etc but if more people charged more.........plenty of threads on already:) a decent gang would bosh that in a day.

  18. Never used it, the draw bar caught your ankles, and it kept getting pictures. Then transporting it around was a pita in my landrover as space is limited.
  19. It's always a bit disheartening when you loose work in such a way, especially if you have put in the leg work for TPO or CA permission. I, like others have said just charge for the TPO/CA application and move on. One that really winds me up and it's happened a couple of times recently is giving a professional and informed and detailed quote, spending an hour discussing what they want and then getting the email, thanks for your detailed and professional quote, we enjoyed talking to you blahs, Blahh, but we have gone for another company based purely upon cost!!! What's the point of trying to do a good job and be professional if that's what happens!!
  20. I sold mine on eBay a while back, I got a good price too.
  21. I've worked at 4 schools in my area and never been asked for one?
  22. There's only one grinder for you the Bandit HB20. It's the best on the market in its class. Loads easier to use due to the chassis pivoting rather than rocking the wheel like in the Carlton or Rayco. Call dean at global and he will be able to help.
  23. I had one, the handle bars do not adjust so it can be a bit of a pain really. I preferred my Rayco rg 13, or just save up and get a Bandit HB 20!
  24. Oooo, sorry I dared to give an input;)
  25. I have a 395 xpg and it replaced a 2006 660 I have never looked back. It's a far mor grunty saw.
