  1. My mate took this from up the tree, we look like something on a model railway layout.
  2. Good luck, there's not much left on the bone at that price for someone to all on,
  3. Calm down bud, not something to joke about. How that's relevant to this thread baffles me.
  4. Small Beech removal, nice day and a helpful farmer.
  5. Not what my local TO told me.
  6. No it isn't, it is down to whoever is doing the work. The householder will not be fined, the contractor will.
  7. Morning Paul, when u come down you can have some fresh juice, it's a great start to the day.
  8. Get a Husky 372 xp, hard to beat really, wil take a 15" bar up to 24". I really love mine.
  9. It is a wake up call for everyone, don't get complacent. Hope you get sorted out.
  10. Looking forward to it Paul.
  11. Maybe the new stuff is not as well made.
  12. Err do they? I had a 660 and find compared to my 395 it's not as good in the cut, seems to not have as much go. I have a 441 but again find it underpowered compared to the 560 .
  13. Yes I think it is Ian, works a treat.
  14. Would it not of been a better idea to use wood chip? Buying in and cutting and splitting 100 tonne a year is a very hard way to hear your home. No offence but the biomass thing seems like a total joke. Where does the government get off on giving money to people for having a biomass heat system that's really a luxury. And we wonder why the country is on its arse.
  15. Buy cheap buy twice? I buy a pair of airstreams every year, £180 for 45 weeks use = £4 a week, nowt wrong with that.
  16. My new toys
  17. I drilled the 150 this morning and boy what a difference!! It awesome.
  18. BTW, why would you keep the price low for a friend of a friend? It's not a good idea in my opinion. I get people calling up saying I'm a mate of so and so and they said you could sort me out some logs or cut down a tree etc. I go and look and give a fair price take it or leave it. Just because they know someone I do doesn't mean they get a discount! Once again another reason I am becoming a people hater:)
  19. Maybe we should follow suit, thing is if we did people would just slag us off. That's why I'm gonna knock logs on the head when I sell all my stock. I've got about 100 tonne and when it's gone I'm not buying in cord again, I will just use what comes from jobs and that's it.
  20. Exactly, if you offered some people 2 bulk bags of fresh cut poplar for £60 or a bulk bag of under 20% moisture ash, syc and birch for £60 I know round here you would sell out of the crap no problem.
  21. Really? I wouldn't of known that;) where abouts on the exhaust?
  22. Where do you put the hole on the 150?
  23. Me too!! Getting really fed up with the plonkers. Had a guy last week wanted a quote for each tree he wanted out, branch pruned etc. I explained that if I do it that way it's gonna cost more than if I price the job as a whole. He didn't get it. Then they lie and say I will get back to and let you know but never do! I'm fed up with these types so I just put an awkward tax on top.
  24. It doesn't really, I don't have it so far up that it would do that but that's why as when I had it right up it used to make that noise, I could imagine my fingers in it. Ouch!!
