  1. If I had known you were at a loose end this week I could have found something here for u mate:( just let me know if you are in that situation again mate.
  2. Never used it, the draw bar caught your ankles, and it kept getting pictures. Then transporting it around was a pita in my landrover as space is limited.
  3. It's always a bit disheartening when you loose work in such a way, especially if you have put in the leg work for TPO or CA permission. I, like others have said just charge for the TPO/CA application and move on. One that really winds me up and it's happened a couple of times recently is giving a professional and informed and detailed quote, spending an hour discussing what they want and then getting the email, thanks for your detailed and professional quote, we enjoyed talking to you blahs, Blahh, but we have gone for another company based purely upon cost!!! What's the point of trying to do a good job and be professional if that's what happens!!
  4. I sold mine on eBay a while back, I got a good price too.
  5. I've worked at 4 schools in my area and never been asked for one?
  6. There's only one grinder for you the Bandit HB20. It's the best on the market in its class. Loads easier to use due to the chassis pivoting rather than rocking the wheel like in the Carlton or Rayco. Call dean at global and he will be able to help.
  7. Your way out of line, shocking posts. What is happening to AT??
  8. I had one, the handle bars do not adjust so it can be a bit of a pain really. I preferred my Rayco rg 13, or just save up and get a Bandit HB 20!
  9. Oooo, sorry I dared to give an input;)
  10. I have a 395 xpg and it replaced a 2006 660 I have never looked back. It's a far mor grunty saw.
  11. Didnt like mine so sold it.
  12. I had a similar thing happen a few years ago, I made him pay for theorem he broke as it was due to stupidness rather than an accident. From what you say about the lad he is a bit careless with the gear, I would get rid and pay for a decent lad, that's what I do now and it makes a huge difference.
  13. Ha,Ha, deans testing us

Pleeease start doing stand up Mr B!!
  15. If you look at what your after they show used and new😑
  16. I disagree, you just say what you do and to what a super standard you do it. Dear sir/madam, I am writing to introduce my company billy bollocks tree care, we are based in wangland and cover xyz area. We offer a first class tree care service blah, Blah
  17. Not round here mate, all the schools are in charge of their own budgets and choose who they want.
  18. Email a covering letter to schools, building companys, hotels etc in your area explaining what you do and if they need you to get in touch.
  19. It's bloody November man!!
  20. I can back my chipper on its trailer into or onto most driveways, I work on the side of the road a lot too, it's really not a big deal, as for cost, when I bought that machine it cost me£400 a month in finance, that was in the recession of 08, I managed to pay it off though and will finance my new Timberwolf vtr when it's made.
  21. It's really not a problem, it seems your thinking of the smallest negatives instead of thinking of the massive pluses to having a tracked machine.
  22. Are the people numptys or a we numptys for letting them try to get away with it?? I'm the seller and I set the rules. End of. Try it lads, next time some plonker try's it on just give it to them.
  23. Well it's about 4 cube actually and it's not a problem, lots of tip sites around my area or just leave on site and the climber I use has a Dyna we chip into. The pros of having a tracked chipper outweigh the cons. Tomorrows job for example, 50 meter drag if you have a tow behind or just wind the tracks in and track it in, chip staying.
  24. For me weight is no issue, I don't have a restricted licence and I have a Landy Rover with 3.5 t towing:)
