  1. No mate, it does blow it under well, may just need to rake it out at times. If I take it out it get the chip well packed in and there is just under 3.8 cube when brimming.
  2. I love my 150 VTR, it's perfect for my set up, it acts like a tow behind it if I need to track into a garden or field I can. The 150 is a good honest chipper if looked after properly.
  3. works ok for me.
  4. That's why I never moved to Arborisk, I called a couple of times and spoke to people but they never got back to me. I be never had a problem with trust. Horses for courses I think.
  5. Same, the hedge trimming and maintainence are a big part of my work, today is hedge reductions tomorrow we can be taking down a big tree. Some jobs it's take the trees or hedge out, grind the stumps and then put a fence up. If you are in to making money then did what you gotta do. I price hedge work the same as tree work and my fencing is priced the same too. If I'm doing a fence I'm bringing toys to the party and its all gotta be paid for.
  6. I always try to move some December work into Jan, in fact that's where I'm booking now, back to work 5th of jan and booked up for 2 weeks after. Have a chat with the customer and see if they can wait.
  7. Trust, speak to Cameron 01604 492644, I have been with them 10 years, paid out when needed. Not much dearer than there competitors but at least the bother to call back and advise on the policy that's best for you.
  8. When I asked my LA about similar work they told me to contact the F/C.
  9. As I said you should contact the F/C, they will come out and take a look and tell you what's what, why risk a fine based on the advice on this thread, which some of it seem incorrect.
  10. Best to contact the F/C they will come and take a look.
  11. Not at all, I treat my tools with respect and look after them. The build quality on the Echo long reach hedge cutters I have is not as good as the stihl long reach cutters. It's like a ford and an Audi!
  12. Bahh, stick yer echo where the sun don't shine:) nice cut but the build quality is crap.
  13. Sorry, mine is the 131.
  14. I have the same, it's great! I have had 3, broke 1 and then bought a second hand one to make into 1 good one, then sold that and bought a brand new one. It's a cracking bit of kit.
  15. I've tried and tried until I'm blue in the face, the customers I have are cool but most people are only bothered about the price, well round my way anyway.
  16. I bought it from and Echo dealer! It's not well made. It cuts nice no doubt but the build quality is pants. Very flimsy, poorly designed parts like the trigger/grip.
  17. Err, dunno, there just the new version, there is a nice orange guard over the blade instead of the black one. Lol. I just wanted a 30" set so I will sell my 24" on eBay in full working order and they have just been serviced by my local stihl dealer.
  18. Local shoe shop mate. You can get Loake from decent shoe shops. Mine were about £200 I think.
  19. Locke are a quality shoe company, I have a pair of their brogues and they are built to last.
  20. Ok Japanese, what ever it wherever they are from the build quality is pants. They are very flimsy, the on off buttons are a bit poor and so it the trigger. They are not designed for pro use in my opinion.
  21. I'm telling him to sell the saw on eBay if he is not happy with it, nowt to do with me as to how he describes it. I wouldn't sell something that's not right. He is saying the saw isn't as good as the new version.
  22. Not for professional use, I bought a set of the long reach cutters after everyone blew on about how great they are and really they are not well made in the way stihl are. They are typical Chinese build quality. I wouldn't buy another set.
  23. Sounds like you bought a bit of a dog mate, I really wish people who are selling stuff we're just honest and if it's broke then fix it before sale. Hope you have better luck from now on.
  24. Stihl do a single sided 40" cutter.
  25. I've just bought the HS82 RC, it's the new one, 30" blades and it's brilliant.
