Bloody hillarious. im a fan of apple products but im with you on that one.
  3. i love all these people on here slagging cumbria police off, maybe you lot should start your own force. in the last 8 months cumbria police have had 3 major incidents to sort out and have done a good job under the circumstances.
  4. I have a set of fiberglass poles made by AUS LTD, they are awesome. I have loppers, silky saw and a hook. not cheap but well worth the money.
  5. ahh i see. i better not put anything else up about this or else i will be getting thrown off the forum. Peace.
  6. Its easy to criticise when you dont have all the facts. only cumbria police have all the facts, and in time they may come to light. I think we should stick to talkin trees instead of thinking we know about police protocol and how we could do it better. I dont think they will be talkin trees on a police forum.
  7. fair enough, im not vat reg so wouldnt know.
  8. but if vat wasnt paid in the first place then they cant add it on if they sell it on can they??
  9. my mate is a roofer and he uses one for cutting lats. he got it off fleabay, no tickets.

  11. Shocking events, i have a few mates up in whitehaven and they say the whole area is in shock, things have been bad for west cumbria of late with the floods, bus crash and now this.
  12. i use helmet, visor, ear defenders, chainsaw boots and chainsaw pants.
  13. i have been with barclays for 8 years, they work for me. the online banking is second to none as is security. i looked at moving last year but decided against it. i did however have a problem when i wanted to borrow 5 grand, they told me i should borrow more to pay off my overdraft?? they said i shouldnt be using my overdraught as much as i do.
  14. That will be CS 30/31. it will cost you about 400 quid, then you public liabilty may go up. you would be better to pass the job on to someone with experience in felling trees and getting rid of the waste.
  15. i have had a couple of the diamond discs. the first one was single sided and wore out after a while. i have just bought one off saturn machine knives and its double sided and is working well. im thinking of getting a battery powered angle grinder so i can take it on jobs coz sometimes the teeth go blunt on the job. my advice is buy one.
  16. i had a pair and didnt like em coz the ankle was shorter than the haix protectors. The leather seemed very tough. They have a bit ont bottom that has spikes on, a bit like cork boots in the us, great for working in the woods, it can be removed if you dont like it.
  17. Full marks for leaving the the fell till the tits have gone, i bet a lot of people would have just gone and felled it.
  18. Nice Pics. The Hobbs is an awesome bit of kit, we use one quite alot, they soon pay for themselves.
