    F.R. Jones

I rang and ordered a set of tri pod ladders 12ft from F.R. Jones on wed at about 1pm, i was told they would arrive on friday, they came on thursday. how cool was that. great price and even better service. thanks jonesy.
  3. Thanks guys for all your info on this matter.
  4. no chance mate, they know its worth something, say i spend a day planking it on my alaskan then thats a days money to start then what they would want a few hundred quid for the butt i cant see it making me any money. how much would the planks be worth??
  5. Any idea how much i should offer for a large oak butt. it is aprox 20 ft long and 48 thick and nice and straight. its on a bit of land i have done some work on, its just lying there, it splits in 2 at about 20ft and the land owners have been hacking at it for firewood. i fancy planking it there, just not sure what to offer:confused1:
  6. Charge her. i used to take old ladys to the garden center and to get her hair done etc, never charged, didnt even get a thanks, so now i charge em. most of em are minted anyway.
  7. Hi All, i got this today, 12.50 plus vat. its like a really small phone, perfect to keep in the pick up to show firewood customers the quality of your product. i got it from my local hardwear shop.
  8. do you go to any matches mozza? ive had a season ticket at city for 8 years and go quite a bit. i do respect fergie for what he has done and he will be missed when he goes but its the fans who rub it in 35 years and all that. i do like the banter and i think city will give utd a run for their money nxt season.

    Arbinsure?

Cheeky bugger. Thanks for hitching my trailer on today jp, its good when a climber will do things as well as climb.
  12. I do some of that fencing now and again, it aint the cheapest but it is the best, the price seems about right for a domestic job, concrete, screws or nails it all adds up.

    Arbinsure?

Good enough for Mozza, its good enough for me.
  14. Had a great quote of Arbinsure, anyone know anything about them?
  15. nowt wrang wi poplar mate, if its dry, it burns.
  16. I am selling a Tunit box for a Land Rover TD5, its in the classified section on this wonderful website.
  17. i think its best to just base the price on each stump or job as to what you want or need from the job.
  18. i had one in better condition i paid 4 grand for it a couple of years ago. but it was a hell of a lot better nick than that mate.
  19. The saw was just right for the stump size, as zep says the lowering made things easier and avoided fence, hedge, dog run etc. there were other jobs being done there also. only 1 lad works for me, the other 2 want experience and are cheap so why not. The customer accepted my price and were happy we cracked on.
