  3. With the new stove regs surprised its still fine to have bonfires of wet wood? Farmers burning bale wrap make plumes of black smoke look like when Sadam lit the oil wells sometimes anyway. 😏
  4. So not really anything new just downgraded some parts on a saw thats being out for a long time by the sound of it. Odd marketing wheeze almost as if there trying to pass it off as a new model of 40cc class saw? 😏
  5. ECHO's CS-4910 Gas Powered Chainsaw | ECHO-USA WWW.ECHO-USA.COM ECHO’s CS-4910 is the lightest 50 cc chainsaw in the market while having the power to tackle any job. Whether trimming... Looks very similar to CS-501SX

  7. yeah 1.1mm 1.3mm dl are width. But the 90PX is taller but narrower i think so is not really a low pro chain if by low pro they mean height of chain above bar? https://www.arboristsite.com/community/threads/0-043-vs-0-050-lo-pro-comparison.297662/
  8. Think you are right it is the height - makes sense. So the 0.43 chain is taller than the 0.50. 0.50 being low pro & 0.43 is tall.
  9. Have a chainsaw witht the 90xp oregon chain and takes 4.5mm file 0.43 But noticed the wider kerf 91xp takes a 4.0mm file? 0.50 Seem odd a wider kerf chain needs a smaller file?
  10. Just checked and if bits are just bought seperately its cheaper 🙂
  11. The samurai ones the same as the Zubats in size were selling 4 20 quid each on amazon. Seems they all vanished now though. Some say they aren't as good but having used both i thought they cut just as good as a zubat Still have them here but more pricey now GC Series - ICHIBAN - Samurai Saws WWW.SAMURAISAWS.CO.UK The comfortable pistol grip handle makes this saw a pleasure to use. Easy to grip creating a highly efficient cutting action. ... Tried a 5 quid ones from lidl was totally useless. Bacho laplander ok but not that good. Have a folding samurai thats alot better. Covid-19

What have Norway, Finland and Denmark got right on Covid-19? WWW.NEWSTATESMAN.COM Interventionist approaches to the virus in the Nordic countries helped them avoid Sweden’s spiralling death rate. Didn't people used to go on about how well Sweden was doing without a lockdown?

Last sentence seem to ring very true....
  14. Got into the bad habit of automatically yanking like crazy on saws etc, due to expriencing ones that don't like starting. Forgetting sometimes if a saw engine wants to start can pull really soft & slow with little effort and it will.
  15. Echo CS-350TES - Chainsaw Clutch, Sprocket Spareparts 16-C300-000242 Schienendeckel CS-350T/TES, WWW.MOTORUF.COM Stuff from germany seems to comes as fast as stuff from inside the UK. 17. Primitive Chopping Block Table WWW.1STDIBS.COM For Sale on 1stDibs - Thick slab oak top on three splayed legs. £2800? 😬😂
  18. Complicated but interesting way Think it requires some precision with the cuts,
  19. What floor are you going to do? If you put in good drainage surrounding maybe you could leave as earth and have a smaller concreted bit for the workshop area? You could aleast have a few clear sheets for skylights in the roof or windows in the walls? Nice to have natural light for workshop rather than having to have lights on during the day?
  20. Did you sketch that its very artistic 🙂 Prevailing winds drive rain sideways quit some distance so a big roof over hang is a good idea.. What roof material? I think having some heavy duty clear vistilux would be good for roof. Also if you leave that gap at base would be good for logs to raised a few ft up of floor so air can flow underneath. Weld mesh maybe. (Fancier than using pallets) Will logs be in vented bags or loose? Planning so you could drive down centre with bays either side? 22. My moiture meter was a £6.99 one off ebay. Would be interesting to see the difference between its readings and the expensive ones.
