  1. Is the 4th dimension time?
  2. About 18p now One downiside with batteries is how you can't measure there degrading with each charge cycle so when to replace? Just seen makita do a gizmo for it would be handy for dealers to have if batteries are the future.
  3. For the 12" logs (33cm logs): For air volume 1.6m loose is 40% solid wood 60% air 1.6 X 0.6 = 0.96 m3 of air 😊 Think thats right % calcs confuse me
  4. Sound Blanket BRINMAR.COM All air conditioners, to some degree, are designed to minimize the sound they make. However, many home owners find the...

  6. Yeah true. Tried to propagate wild bullace from stones but mice got them Assume they could be propagated as easy as blackthorn whips by a nusery but they sell for £25 each
  7. Seems like a good idea doesn't seem other companies do them couldn't find any on google apart from a 5 oven thornhill one.

  9. Often thought would be nice to guerilla plant fruit trees on bits of "waste" often brambly/scrub ground along side footpaths laybys etc
  10. You can get various thorn proof "hunting" trousers This kind of thing: Percussion Predator R2 Trousers Khaki - Edinburgh Outdoor Wear WWW.EDINBURGHOUTDOORWEAR.COM Buy Percussion Predator R2 Trousers Khaki and other outdoor clothing here from Edinburgh Outdoor Wear. Don't sound very cool though being waterproof
  11. How does the 555FRM differ from 555RXT?
  12. Culture wars apparently over weather to mention the slave money that built there country houses. I know some tenant farmers aren't very keen on them as landlords
  13. Whats wrong with the batteries?
  14. Mulch matting would have big positive impact on how well they would do/establish might be worth considering but eco stuff is expensive. If rabbit fencing consider the BS standards for the rabbit netting as many chicken wire thats sold as rabbit proof the holes are to big and if swg gauge thin they can chew though it .. May be expensive though....but I hate the plastic tree guards as they never seem to get removed, and who wants the job crawling along under a hawthorn hegde removing 4000 of them.... http://adlib.everysite.co.uk/resources/000/025/637/TIN023.pdf
  15. Annother thing is dunno if you can get the carving narrow tip bars that fit the bar mounts.
  16. Husqvarna 420el is near identical to the best makita ones just different plastic colour. Have used both for firewood and they are decent. quality. Only tiny downside is its not a brushless motor like the newer cordless stuff. so carbon brushes will net replacing eventually but they last for ages. Also the new tooless adjustment thing on cover looks cheap prefered the bolts what they used to have Don't think any corded saws are brushless though as they are old designs that have being around for yrs.
  17. Do you buy in much fertililizer? Price has gone up abit recently Fertiliser prices still climbing in tricky market - Farmers Weekly WWW.FWI.CO.UK Nitrogen prices are continuing to climb due to tight supply, rising gas prices and some panic-buying, say traders. Urea is...
  18. Got the lidl or aldi own version of a silky saw for 5 quid didn't cut at all. Tried sharpening it & still terrible so wouldn't think the pole saw will be very useful lopper part might work though
  19. Robina would seem an ideal wood for its properties not locally grown though and probably more expensive than getting larch or sweet chestnut We sell robinia false acacia in Belgium, England, Wales, Scotland, Ireland, london,Cardiff, chelsea flower show, bbc garden, homefront, WWW.ACACIA-ROBINIER.BE Acheter bois Acacia Robinier adresse grossiste robinier prix négoce terrasse bardage pavés en bois Lille Bruxelles Gent... They use it for kids playground poles.

  21. Alder isn't durable rots very fast but apparently durable if kept wet etc so its an odd one I don't really understand its properties - but i don't think it would be suitable unless your round house is a crannog on a lake / bog and needs piles 🙂
  22. I got a brushless makita drill bare. As thay have a massive range at different prices its hard to compare quality against other brands unless its more specific models and whats best vfm etc. Would be like deciding stihl is poor after only using a ms170.
  23. Similar amount of ash in north wales although estate woodlands are often more varied. Another impact will be a decline in hedgerow trees as the majority are ash. Atleast in the woodlands regen will fill the gaps with other species but the hedgerow trees will be lost more permanently as theres little regen due to flailing Happened with elm.
