Find that wood that has rot in it never burns as well even if dried out, probably it has lost some calorific value. There was even a special word for it in the book Norwegian Wood. -

Any idea how they actually plan to enforce it? Going round with with moisture metres stopping deliveries with under 2m3 in? Most wood in winter outside will fail due to relative humidity RH so don't get it.... Suppose they will may just fail wood over 25% to allow for that?

Plenty of knock of makita batteries and there cordless saws etc are ok. Surprised no stihl ones yet suppose its still a smaller niche than the 100's of tools & esp the drills that are so common that fit the dewalt and makita ones -
There are a few other obscure chainsaw making companies or brands apart from the chinese cheapo ones but alot are rebadged etc or only sold in some countries, like oleo mac same as efco. Nice Interesting design choice in that it looks abit like semi top handle in design having battery underneath. Makes the saw look weird as opposed to having it at the top Maybe idea was protects battery from rain abit?
