  3. The word grove always makes me think of oak or yew trees & druids. Also thought of a grove as an area of single species trees within a larger mixed woodland. Didn't think it meant nut or fruit trees as that was an orchard but maybe: fruit trees = orchard nuts = a nut grove. (also nuttery) I think of a small isolated area of trees as a copse. How does a a copse differ from grove? But then theres also spinney covert thicket brake shelter belt etc........
  4. DUH601Z - 18V Hedge Trimmer 60cm BL LXT WWW.MAKITAUK.COM Product Sounded noisy (clattering noise) so topped up the grease (even though it hasn't done 100hrs yet) which is the service interval for greasing Then after just stopped working/cut & our smoke from motor ? 6. Trouble with covid is its unknown atm if immunity once obtained, by either getting infected, or by getting a vacine, how long that immunity will last. Serveral of the current flu viruses are endemic corona type viruses this is the latest "novel" or new one.
  7. Im sure 6 officers could restrain someone without kneeling on there neck. Used to do judo yrs ago and learnt a load of grounds hold that didn't kill anyone so its not rocket science, and could hold down someone considereable heavier/bigger. Also did choke holds & arm locks to force submission tap outs remember one nutter wouldn't tap out when i was choking him Still remember his face was beetroot red ? scared was gonna kill him.

  11. Millionaires but also mass poverty. The goverment may have nuclear weapons but it is also weak with a huge corruption problem and I don't think taxes are collected hence no money to spend on modern public infrastructure, sanitation roads etc. Contrasting the huge differences in developments between China and India is also interesting.
  12. Western wealth is built on offshore cheap labour and cheap natural resource extraction from rest of the world driven mostly by China nowadays. Seems like having a country with alot of valuable natural resources is often a a curse rather than an asset with bad governace. Cosumerism driven wealth like the "americain surburbian dream" can't work for whole world as there isn't enough resources for everyone to "lvl up"
  13. Is that stem really not worth milling looks about 25ft x 4ft?

  16. stem plus any nails left for millling...
  17. All thoose hand carwashes run by slaves surely easy for police to check as ther stood in plain site for 14hrs everyday dressed in rags/old dirty cloths. 8 of then there with one old cavaran parked round th back ? Kind of wonder if police they just turn a blind eye to it.
  18. More slaves globally today that any time in history and estimated 10,000 in UK although UK is probably alot better that most places.
  19. What grade tarp is reasonable last one I got disintergerated after 2yrs plastic bits everywhere ? Was one like this: Waterproof Tarpaulin Green | Mid Grade Tarp | Temporary Cover WWW.TARPAFLEX.CO.UK Our Green Mono Cover Tarpaulin are ideal for use in horticulture, agriculture, roofing and industrial applications.
  20. Is much willow for biomass still being planted or gone out of fashion now?
  21. Locally here they use granite 3/4 to dust for a proper job of sub base as that what the rock round about in the quarries are. Trouble with gravel it gets mixed with soil eventually so tonnes of gravel soil mix to remove and then replace with new. material.... Probably enough material is there already but not efficient to sieve it all ans re-use...
