  5. How does is social distancing gonna work in thoose? ? One each?
  6. The local footpath volunteer group has a BGS flail i think, and use chainsaws and strimmers etc not sure how insurance works. Hardly any bridle paths round here though and majority of footpaths say around 75% of them are completely overgrowth and not useable. Not gone on any footpaths since covid lockdown & the only thing that was keeping many them open I reckon is regular use. I carried a pocket silky, and loppers sometimes to hack through encroaching scrub and head height brambles.
  7. I reckon here but dunno and % prob of sucessful regrowth hard to predict. Drought conditions atm for many places in UK etc recently Maybe do it in stages but then excesss shade may be an issue though partial light shade could be a benefit? Some neglected pollards think they advocated doing staged work. Might not regrow though?

  15. Trees dont like wind hence with a block of trees you see the canopy slopes up in height from the windward side, the trees there stunted compared to more sheltered location at the back. Maybe consider a hedge with another row of tree behind but then would block view..... Holm oaks seem slow growing and hornbean fast from what ive seen with beech inbetween.
  16. Beach-goers cite Dominic Cummings lockdown breaches as reason for packed resort WWW.TELEGRAPH.CO.UK Many said it was almost impossible to socially distance at the beach during the hot Bank Holiday
  17. I reckon the Cummings fiasco and him not resigning/admitting a mistake will has big knock on affect on other peoples behaviour may well make some people say f**k it to lockdown and go against current guidance. So blood on his hands may be not too far fetched. People are influenced by what they see as acceptable. People who attack 5G masks and ignore social distancing as beleive covid is a hoax. Sweden has no official lockdown policy but less % idiots = less transmission of virus as people reduce contact by choice having common sense. Also lockdown was delayed until it had already spread all over UK loads of air travel from all over the globe (more than Sweden) limiting its effectiveness. Overcrowding in sub standard housing/flats may also be a factor, and poorer health & more obesity. Higher virus death rate in poorer areas - ONS WWW.BBC.CO.UK Analysis shows people living in more deprived areas are more likely to die with Covid-19.
  20. Dunno is just a cheap non brand one with yellow fibre handle thats decades old, & the head profile looks abit similar to this bacho. Mines about a 3kg head i think.
