  1. Nice one! :-) thumbup
  2. How dare you sir!... A brown mondeo indeed :-( bad enough I drive a ranger but a mondeo...
  3. A guy I know prefers lime over any other Wood for his miniature model buildings, he reckons the grain looks like more like oak than oak does when it's done to scale. So yeah I guess so.
  4. Always thought you had a bit of gypsy in ya! ;-)
  5. Totally agree, Shiply is a big fat con with no buyer protection. Had a right to do last year with them, didn't get my items from eBay (refunded by PayPal) they didn't refund my deposit but luckily the credit card company did. Never use them again. Think they were on watchdog this year...
  6. If the work area was cleared beforehand then it's got to be worth £380 & you'll be in the pub by 2pm ;-)
  7. I was thinking about these for the trailer, are they any good?
  8. Just make sure the magnets are small enough to fit flush to the roof ridges (good contact) if it's an 02 plate like mine, otherwise it will end up in the back at around 65 - 70mph!!!
  9. Well I seriously doubt that I will ever use them again after last times charade & this weeks abysmal 'customer service'. I'd still be waiting for my call back if I hadn't chased them up. I know the APF is on but I ordered something from fr Jones at the same time, which won't be here until after the N. A. S order but they have kept me informed all the way. So thumbs-up to jonesy & to N. A. S - sort it out!
  10. That's not what I've heard!... Big boy ;-)
  11. But not waterproof?!
  12. I've haddock enough of all this fishy pollacks
  13. How dare you call me a guardian reader! ... Tory boy :-) x
  14. You sir imho are an idiot & should keep your 'advice' to yourself
  15. I know of a tr6 with just under 1200 hours that has just had its fourth ignition black box, three of them under warranty. I imagine they aren't made by forst so can't really be blamed but around £300 a pop it could become annoying. Apart from that they're the best chippers I've ever used... I'm Tempted to accept their trial machine but don't think I could stop myself signing the credit agreement!
  16. Definitely self employed.
  17. Don't let anyone film you when you're making the back cut! ;-)
  18. The guy is taking the urine out of you! Try & get your own private jobs in the other 2 days.
  19. Ibc's every time! Easier to store & manoeuvre if kept inside (if your shed isn't that big). Kept Outside - cut the container in half & put on top of logs for a roof. Plus if you sell by the cube it's quicker to count & load
  20. I'm in a very similar situation to you, it's a hard road to travel when you haven't got a lump sum to buy the toys you need. Fair play to ya.
  21. Spot on!
  22. Mick - way too much! Even if you're doing a homemade one, unless you've got all you need laying around in a shed & are handy with a welder. Cheapest conversion I've found was protipper (or similar) at £1695 using my existing ally sides (double cab ranger) Woody - haha too true. My reason's mainly for logs, that & I'm not as young as I used to be!
  23. True but be it a 'full' load of chip or even logs, it's the last thing you want to do at the end of a hard days graft, I'd much rather just press a button.
  24. Hahaha, very true. I learnt to keep my mouth shut on that subject years ago.
