  2. hell yeah, wouldn't be the first time
  3. aye she does ... at the mo but with a lick of paint & some aly sides she'd be half way there granted the price should be more like 850.00 + vodka & tonic
  4. 'cos i love 'em & she'd be a good project - landrovers are always 'work in progress' ! but if you drive jap stuff yee'l never understand
  5. i want, i want, i want !!! Land Rover 150 6x6/6x4 200TDI Tipper | eBay
  6. clay pots are much better for plant health / growth than plastic for sure but that aeroponic propogator really is the dogs b******s ! & it's sucess rate is near 100% a big plus is you can pick each individual cutting up & check root progress
  7. p.s take the lid off once a day to help air exchange & wipe any excess moisture off the sides of the lid p.s.s looking good :-)
  8. well you've got the best propogater around but would recomend 24 hours of blue / white light (T5's are best), (how are the l.e.ds' working out?) once roots start to form open the vent at the top (gradually) to harden off & then reduce hours of daylight to 18/6. you don't really need rooting hormone for softwood cutting but it does improve the success percentage on hardwood cuttings. no medium works best for this prop working on acer cultivation at mo!
  9. not mine unfortunately but i used to go to work in her it's got to be a moggy everytime, yee canny beat 'em
  10. what, like a chipp shop ?!
  11. just had 2nd bumper crop of spuds, 1st tomatoes are just turning red, sweet peppers coming along nicely, chillis doing nothing yet, all the srawberries are gone, carrots go in every month & come out every 2 months, perpetual spinach, celery aswell but it just looks like cress at the mo, lambs lettuce & mixed leaf lettuce oh & purple sprouting but they'e covered in caterpillars! all from seed, really want a polly tunnel !
  12. Hi all, i'm planning to start this course next month via distance learning can anyone recommend best place to do it? or any other providers ... the horticultural correspondance college do it for 350 quid & myerscough college do it for 465 squids ... tad confused - not sure if they are exactly the same course offered as modules seem slightly different but haven't been able to speak with either college yet (waiting for the call!) any info would be appreciated
