  1. I'd rather rock up at site with this [ame] [/ame] & only £9999.95 whilst stocks last
  2. Most of us aren't landscapers I guess! So it's tree work & then a bit more tree work. Winter's great, no betty swollocks & home by 4pm
  3. Doing a Bartletts is better!
  4. Hahaha funny as ....
  5. Hi Nicola, got my rotatech chain today thank you very much. I'm not on the trees today but have got a massive log pile of arb waste that needs sorting so I will let you know how it performs. Cheers leon
  6. Aye, a forester would've felled it in the right spot
  7. &......
  8. Not mine just inspiration for my first attempt
  9. There's plenty of 'free' logo design websites but personally I wouldn't bother, they are too generic & look cheap. Go to a graphic designer & for £60 + you'll have something unique to you & copyrightable (if that's even a word?!)
  10. That's the biggest load of bull faeces I've read in ages! & I'd question if you are on the right planet! Trees are an important part of our environment, trees matter, people & money don't. We are but caretakers of the land we live on, trouble with the world is people like you that only care about cash. To the op - do what you feel is right & let your TO aware of your concerns, off the record that is.
  11. Stop being a dime bar or I'm telling me mum...
  12. Was thinking exactly the same! That'd be my labour charge only for 2 men or machine & 1 man
  13. Just happened to have that picture laying around did ya buddy?!
  14. If that wasn't a stutter & you meant 'not FIT for purpose'? Haha hahaha says 'ee with a transit!
  15. Probably because there wasn't any saws or chippers going full bore in the shop :what:
  16. ... Oh dear, hahaha sorry hard not to laugh (nobody got hurt so all good) straight into the chipper & away ya go boys! Think I recognise the logo / setup so probably best not mention it, probably why it was deleted before?!. Think the point being tried to make was we've all had a tree not go exactly or anywhere near where we wanted it go, you don't know just how decayed it is until you cut through it but with the lack of safety control in that location & setting it's inexcusable. It's as funny as it is shocking.
  17. No that's a I'm still drunk from last night & my head is booming kind of brain fart Only done it once. Nearly? Quite a few (see above!) Going to watch the video now to see what all the fuss is about...
  18. This is going to turn into an ms461 thread but yes, also the Ms361 is flawless & versatile too, just not as good in the bigger stuff like the 461 The echos seem OK but they don't feel like they'd put up with the abuse I give my stihls Husqvarna? Don't bother cos they're poo 💩 ;-)
  19. Not when our glorious government stops the current benefit system!
  20. Nice one, thank you
  21. Hang on there Steve, if they are claiming that they are new & improved then I for one will give them the benefit of the doubt. Imagine how much grief the manufacturers must have had on the mk1's so something HAD to change.
  22. In my previous career I was responsible for 40 + members of staff & imo any course isn't going to make him a manager! It's down to you to develop him into his this role. Try a mentoring approach & ask him what he would do when various scenarios actually happen, then let him action those for himself to see how he handles them. Psychology is probably the most important factor to people management, whether it be staff or customers. His lack of confidence will be his weakness especially with the lads he works alongside atm, you don't want him cocky just quietly confident & that comes from experiencing many different situations & differing results. On each occasion ask him what went well, what didn't go so well, what he would do differently in the future to get a better result.
  23. No not personally, as it was a new product at the time that seemed to good to be true I waited for other folks to try them out & I wasn't very impressed with what I saw but if you say changes have been made then I may try them. At what level of wear does the refund policy go to? Because a day old piranha chain looks like it'd been cutting roots for a month!
  24. SteveyA how are ya? You'll make a video won't you mate? -1st few hours readjusting the slack stretching chain. -next couple of hrs sharpening -half an hour checking the broken snapped off teeth -& finish the video off with throwing it in the bin
