  1. With ketchup or brown sauce?!
  2. Yeah, well at least it'd make fun reading albeit it a childish one. Fair point Mick & I'm loving the irony
  3. Paul, i'm not having a go at you - I'm just trying to point out that what is deemed foul or offensive by one isn't to another & what's acceptable to one isn't to another person. That's life! & rightly or wrongly I swear like a trooper so it'd be nice to have some clarity of exactly what isn't allowed.
  4. Sorry to hear that dude. I've always been a fan of tracking devices, up until recently when I found out how easy it is to stop them transmitting :-( Trackers will bring your insurance down but any savings are lost in increased premiums following a claim You can never stop the thieving scum just slow 'em down, so lots of big chains & park/wedge machinery together if you have to leave it at night Good luck
  5. Will you be selling your rock grinder then? If so can you pm me a price & a pic, cheers :-) ps your inbox is full
  6. Ps a list of non acceptable swear words would be great cos otherwise it's bollocks if it's left up to individual mods to deem what's accepted or not
  7. & here lies the problem with the whole world - Politics & religion, the two biggest causes of wars since the start of... Well, politics & religion , so no politics or religion at the bar gentlemen please... & leave the handbags outside bitches ;-) x
  8. Looking to convert to tipper int near future, mainly cos the bed's rotten... Bloody fords!
  9. It's a fair point, over policing / censoring of the forum does seem ott sometimes, which I'm sure leads to people not wanting to contribute as much if at all. It's not my forum so it's not my rules but Steve / Paul we are after all just hairy assed wood cutters... with handbags
  10. I won't, all their other stuff I've seen is plastic crap but was thinking about the hedgecutter attachment to fit my combi just for cutting scrub close to rough/wire/glass ridden ground, for the price of it it's disposable. Cheers
  11. Probably plastic parts that have worn, I know someone who works for genpower (think it's called that) who import them & was looking forward to a hefty discount up until I saw the amount of kit which had been returned awaiting appraisal under warranty, most of it didn't look like it had been used much either. Buy another one, send it back with new receipt, get replacement & keep it till the new one gives up the ghost
  12. Er,,, without sounding harsh - it's a hyundai! & you're using it commercially, you're lucky you got +12 months out of it. How much did you pay for it? (£160ish?) & how long is the warranty for?... If it's worth anything!?
  13. I'm sorry, who mentioned bitch fight? Had a bad day did you darling? Oh & I want that dress back that you borrowed! Xxx
  14. Get them to buy you a long handled patio cleaner, the ones with the wire brush heads - they're perfect for the smaller shoots & the root suckers. It's damn near impossible to get it all off without some minor damage & you'll always see where the ivy used to be so it's best to brush on some stabiliser & use oil based masonry paint for the best longest lasting finish. Ps you can use a weed burner (I've tried! Minus the Catherine wheel! ;-) ) but only on a bare brick / stone wall.
  15. Nah you'll be fine with a weed burner... Just make sure you rub it down with white spirit first!!!
  16. They do make good lawnmowers, strimmers & hedgecutters... Just a shame their blowers & saws are poo!
  17. How does well the ryobi kit work/last ? Heard a while ago that they fit each other but haven't seen it myself. To the op, I can recommend the stihl combi system with the 135 cutting head, faultless.
  18. Aye, that's why you Winch it... Nice & slow
  19. In the past I have winched it off from the base off of the whole gable end of a house but it was green. I'm guessing a steam pressure washer would be too harsh on the dashing / render. Good old elbow grease might be the only option. I hate working for friends & family - they always give you the crap jobs!
  20. Yeah they're just justifying their jobs imho. I think it would be better to reassess newly 'qualified' operatives after 3 months to make sure they were safe & understood everything in practice. I'm all for personal development, so in that way it's a good thing...
  21. Sorry to hear that dude, what I've learnt again recently is to appreciate the little things & be happy with the cards you've been dealt, sweet f. a we can do about it. I'm refusing all pharmaceuticals atm, unless it means surgery but I'm still waiting for a firm diagnosis... Strangely this started when I gave up smoking too!?!
  22. Hi Paul, I heard recently from a lantra trainer that nptc & lantra will amalgamate sometime soon & lantra will do the training & nptc will do the assessments... Any news on that?
  23. *Chuckles Thought there'd be some differing view points (as always

  25. Checkout pic number 4 on the advert
