  5. Yeah the nettles seem to have more zing to their sting this year too? Maybe I'm just getting old! Wish I didn't react, lucky gits
  6. Cheers for the feedback guys, wish I'd tried something today cos it made a hard day even harder, ended up covering all skin apart from my face, sweated my tits off! even had to shut the vents on my lid cos they were getting in. Sat on my visor eyeballing me! Swarms of them up until 5pm. What really pee'd me off - had the Mrs in for an extra pair of hands dragging brash & she doesn't react to them! Anyone else immune?

  14. Strimming last night & I thought it was splatter on my arms but no twas 3 of the buggers sat there munching. I'll try deet cheers & thanks for the advice stubby, very helpful :sly:
  15. Due to its surroundings, doing anything to the roots could cause you, the landowner or the public problems in the future. Is it an option to narrow the driveway? It looks deep enough to take a few tons of stone /gravel but not great for compaction, or just lift the affected area & relay the paving... Every couple of years
  16. British trees are a lot hardier than their American counterparts!
  17. Aaaaaargh it's that time of year again! Can't stop scratching anybody got any remedies, sensible or otherwise!
  18. Those pictures make me moist! I'm a landrover nut through & through but I'm going to get rid of mine & get a jap double cab, sad times but she's costing me too much money. Thing is they don't have the soul that a landy does. Definitely rate the hilux though make sure you get the invincible model - the reversing camera's a god send
  19. + mileage costs at so much per mile. Fair play if you've found a gap in the market then go for it
  20. It does actually pal, because if he's found a loophole or whatever it was that changed their minds a week later then it'd be nice to share it with the group incase any of us end up in a similar situation in the future!
  21. What prompted them to do that? I've never heard of ANY insurance company doing that!
  22. Lick it or sniff it... Should give you a better idea of what it is ;-)
