  2. Apart from wacking cheeky young uns around the back of the head?
  3. Then you wouldn't have any sense of scale & that 12" bar would look tiny ;-)
  4. Hair on your chest? You may need some on your gonads! ;-) grow a pair lad & tell them to jog on... Or tell them sorry but I never lend kit out, it's my livelihood I've worked hard for it +I'll most likely need it tomorrow etc. If they're a good mate then work for beer & bbq, if not tell them you'd be more than happy to price up the job for 'em :-)
  5. You heard it everyone, don't eat the salmon I repeat THE SALMON IS OFF!
  6. We have forwarders & timber trailers for that over here old bean! Do you often chip more than 3 tons a day? Ps fair play Stephen she's a cracker, as long as she's paying for herself

  8. Mushroom brew tonight was it?!
  9. Imho, as long as you've got the correct tension on the Winch cable I wouldn't bother wedging (unless the Winch or operator is snatchy) as you're giving the tree more time to fail, just use a big saw with a big bar, get in get it done get out... & in the pub for 2pm ;-)
  10. Buy a new one you tightwad & best make it a sugihara :-)
  11. Make sure the Winch keeps pulling 'till she's down, no snatching, good direct pull on Tree so no twisting, as sound a hinge as you can muster & a mighty pair of gonads! :-)
  12. Yeah you can do, cheers. I've got one in pdf but interested to see if it's the same! :-)
  13. Haha, you are right! My productivity went up when I deleted the app. It's a weakness but it's a very good one :-)

  15. Out of leylandi ?!?
  16. Small is great but bigger would have been better for this chestnut! Stefan do you mind if I pm you to discuss prices?
  17. Cheers, I have done & he's got straight on the case. Seems excellent customer service so far :-)
  18. Darn it, I missed it. Have they sold out of those bloody calenders yet?!
  19. Thank you kind sir, i was curious because I haven't done that many & at the quote stage today the possible client asked me to send them the form as they hadn't heard of it & no other contractor had mentioned it to them whilst quoting for the job.
  20. Had to Google it & watched a YouTube vid - BEASTY! makes me feel quite insecure with my little praxis ;-) what's it like on steep slopes & have you any plans on getting a tracked machine? Oh & how often does she go out? If you don't mind me asking! Sorry for the over enthusiastic questions but after 10 years of felling to ground level I'm actually enjoying going deeper, hope I'm not turning into Stefan! :-)
  21. What grinder have you got Johny?
  22. Sweet, mines done about 40 minutes for 200 squid so far... This time next year rodders!
  23. Thanks! I want a rayco now ;-)
  24. Hi guys, what are your thoughts on this - is there any difference in a client / customer notifying with a 211 or the contractor doing it in relation to timescale, response, acceptance or anything else you can think of? Cheers in advance.
