  6. Usually the Lil plastic wedges are only any use for taking big stumps right down (if you can't find a stick) 3 wedges? Personally I find that excessive (not knocking you) there's not many trees you need more than 2 high lifts... Imho
  7. Nice one :-) not seen the plastic handles before! So they take mallet splatter well?
  8. Hi lift is the only wedge you need, get two & tie them together a couple of feet apart. https://www.frjonesandson.co.uk/products-page/forestry-equipment/wedges/stihl-high-lift-wedge-980g/

  11. Yeah think that's all it is but my welding is like stevey wonders! Could do with just buying one but can't find anywhere that sells them. Suppose I'll try & get one made. Any hints & tips to fabricate one?
  12. Hi Matty, welcome to the forum. This subject has been done to death, try using the search button first :-) ps you are only worth what someone is prepared to pay you.
  13. Nice one, will check it out when I can feel my hands again, it's freezing out there! :-)
  14. They said they'd cap mine at £30 a week, or maybe it was a month but either way I'm not paying a pound just for someone to click on my site. Do you do it Dan?
  15. Hia, i'm after a kindling maker to go on a 22 ton splitter (like the one in the YouTube video) if anyone can point me in the direction of one for sale? or if anyone can make me one? I'd be grateful. Either way I need one quickly! Many thanks [ame] [/ame]
  16. Cheers guys, have had all 4 wheels off of the ground & no play. It's too cold out there now to be rolling around on the floor so I'll check all 3 diffs int mornin. There was me thinking 2016 wasn't too bad, this could be expensive & the dogs going to the vets tomorrow :-( Appreciate the fact about the wading but there was no other way of getting home! :-)
  17. When doing a search I get... 4 paid ads at the top Then 8 websites but 6 are directories (Thompson, Yell etc) & 3 ads at the bottom Pages are definitely getting smaller. Looked into doing the add words but at a £1 per click it's not for me! To Bytham, do you pay for yours?
  18. Hi guys, I've had my ranger a few months now & apart from £500 odd quid for mot & 600 quid on tyres she's been as good as a hilux... Up until today, I'm getting a hell of a rumble down below at over 40mph with nothing obvious being apparent. So was just wondering what has gone wrong / been replaced on your trucks? Thought it was the centre bearing on prop at first but seems OK. I did some deep wading a month back so it may be water in my diffs but will find out tomorrow. Thanks in advance for any replies
  19. It's because he hardly uses his saw! Now the stop & go sign? That's seen some action!
  20. As Dan says, update it regularly, keep content fresh & don't get penalised by Google for just adding keywords the trick is to make your content authentic, just keep writing content with keywords but make sure it flows & not just bullet points.
