  1. Don't you have to lock the throttle to apply the choke ? Press the interlock and squeeze the trigger then apply the choke and release the trigger to lock it on. Do older models work different ?
  2. Is it same thread as a spark plug? Same for Husky and Stihl according to this and this
  3. If it's a split rim it's useless used tubeless anyway isn't it. If it's on a solid rim with a tube no problem if it's seated but if it's tubeless the ridges don't make any difference, it doesn't seal on them it seals on the lip touching the bead.
  4. Why would a tyre spin on a solid rim any worse than on a split rim ? Once it's seated on the bead it's not going anywhere in a hurry or tractors would have problems all the time.
  5. It says under the bar cover in the first post and it pulls over with the decomp button pressed, just sounds like he's not pulling hard enough or he's put it together wrong. Is he putting it on the floor and standing on the handle or trying to drop start it ?
  6. Take the saw back, let them show you how it works.
  7. Only criminal thing I find about them is the amount they charge for a transaction but banks are as bad. A friend of mine was telling me how his bank charges him something like £7 to deposit money into his shop account now.
  8. Guns don't kill people, rappers do.
  9. I thought the point was simply that the tree was heart shaped ?
  10. That's because of the security certificate, the site is not https. That's not really a worry for forums more for sites where you are passing on financial information like card numbers on paypal. You can still get phishing attacks on secure sites. I read earlier that the site is applying for SSL certification.
  11. Anybody working on this ? I've been following it since a couple of weeks ago when the local paper reported that the new owner had given people who had been on there 25 years a month to vacate. It sounds like the new developer is out to make changes.
  12. Nice moves....
  13. If the tunnel has a cover on it, even a transparent one will block UV transmission so the nets should last.
  14. Sorry was typing from memory before, open internet options then connections and click LAN, local area settings button and check if you are being routed through a proxy. If you are then change it to automatically detect settings. A friend of mine had this and it was doing weird stuff to his browser whatever he used changing his search page and home page etc.
  15. Open your Internet options and advanced and check if you are being routed through a proxy server. If you are you have been redirected. Unchecked proxy and select automatic.
  16. Greenmech for sale on Gumtree, made me smile as it's in Garden power tools. It looks clean.
  17. What is there to do apart from dress the bar, clear the groove and make sure it's not pinching ? If the drive links are bottoming the bar is shot isn't it ?
  18. Would it pass ? A frayed knot
  19. He's probably better looking than Vespasian then, don't worry about it there's probably a perfectly rational explanation. Could be worse it could be Biggus Dickus
  20. Worry no longer " Vespasian, Latin in full Caesar Vespasianus Augustus" His full name ends in anus harr harrr
  21. I wonder what the life expectancy of the chain and bar would be on something like that ? It would be out of the bar guides at the sprocket end and running faster than recommended getting hot.
  22. That looked fun. What's with all the whiskers ?
  23. Mending iPhones, done a few different repairs from Youtube videos now, screens, speakers and volume button replacements and the parts cost buttons on eBay.
  24. I bought a 25cc top handle for a one of job and I've used it a few times since. Plastics seem a bit floppy but it starts and runs fine now I cleaned the carb out after it had been standing for a while. It runs on Aspen 2 now not the 25:1 mix in the booklet, much less smoke.
  25. This June for me, I've got to start looking for some wood as the store is nearly empty but I had the second hernia done a fortnight ago and it's still a bit tender so I look like sending my wife out instead.
