  1. I've got one in my watching on eBay as we speak
  2. Leylandii just turn into a row of trees too close together with nothing at the bottom from what I've seen. I was on school gardens when the craze for them started in the 70s and they were planted everywhere as the latest big thing. Now they are the bane of a lot of people's lives having inherited them with a property and ignored them for a few years and facing a big bill to get rid of them. We used to trim them back and they never recovered, not like a Yew hedge and a lot were taken out and replaced with Beech fortunately.
  3. Something is not quite right, not sure what it is.
  4. I hope you don't wear your kkk outfit when you go to quote
  5. I had my pre op yesterday for the other side. I had the left one done last year and enjoyed it so much I'm having another. is better when the bruising goes honest. 27th of this month I'll be in there.
  6. Title made me laugh. What kind of people worry about the colour of the bag their logs come in ? [ame] [/ame]
  7. Glad to see you got the kids PPE before you let them use the saw there Tony. Just make something totally incredible up when he asks you so he can prove you wrong every time if it makes him happy. 99% of facts on the internet are made up, I know this one was.
  8. One on a 372, isn't it similar ? only picture I can find.
  9. Cold wet and miserable, weather's about same
  10. Probably not fitted into the body of the valve before fitting into the hole in the tank by the sound of it.
  11. I've had it a few times but never on arbtalk, don't click on the page just press reset on the computer and run malwarebytes after restart just in case but if you click on the page it will install a fake scan and stop you opening malware checkers. It's ransomware I got it popping up whilst trying to find film downloads and free plans for different things.
  12. The "plug" is like a breather filter which fits in the opposite end of duckbill and the duckbill pushes into the hole in the tank leaving the breather on the outside. Which way round are you fitting it ? Has the hole in the tank been expanded by someone ?
  13. It should just be a push fit. The "bronze plug" is the actual air inlet and the duckbill stops fuel getting out.
  14. Monty Python can help. Sorry. [ame] [/ame]

    STIHL battery saw

    It's battery powered isn't it ?
  16. ʇᴉ ɥʇᴉʍ ƃuoɹʍ ƃuᴉɥʇʎuɐ ǝǝs ʇ,uɐɔ I
  17. A friend of mine had a 9mm garden gun which was very good for popping rats but you need a shotgun permit for it.
  18. Fox Terriers work just as well:thumbup:
  19. Nice work Mick, goes well with the paint and wicker.
  20. Have you taken the recoil off and tried turning the flywheel with the nut in the middle ? Motor over tight on the recoil just sounds like good compression if it runs o.k. and saying it's probably knackered bearings is a bit of a shot in the dark. Send it back and get a bid on another if you think you can do better for the money. Make sure you go and see before you buy if you don't want to take any chances.
  21. How much did you get it for, was it a bargain till it didn't come with a bar ?
  22. I didn't believe in resurrection till I read this.
  23. Speedo can read higher than actual but an IVA test on a modified vehicle checks it. That's like if you are doing 70mph but reading 80 it is OK but if you are doing 70 and reading 69 it is a fail . MOT should have the facility to check same as the ministry stations have. If you have not messed with your wheel sizes or your gearing your speed should always read accurately enough not to trigger a camera.
  24. My bow saw was £3.95 with a spare blade. Still on the first blade. I'd still like a Silky type saw but not £60 worth for what I'd use one the couple of times a year I prune anything.
