    My new dog.

Our wire haired dog had little man syndrome, anything bigger than him was due for a fight so he had to be on the lead. The smooth bitch was placid as anything with other dogs but cats were just prey. People told me a dog would not tackle a cornered cat but she just steamed in and grabbed them. I had to rescue next door but one's Burmese, it was on our garden round the guinea pig hutch and she chased it and grabbed it. I caught it after she threw it up in the air and it latched onto the gate and I took it round to them. It didn't go out of their house for ages after. She used to dunk hedgehogs in any convenient water, picked them up with her front teeth on the spines but I took them off her if I caught her. She was dead crafty though and would take stuff to hide if she thought she was going to get caught.

Not judging you at all, if you are happy with the cat up there that's fine by me I love the Fox Terrier, we've had two. First one was a wire haired dog and he was a bit alternative. If he didn't like someone that was it they couldn't do anything to change his mind and he would not take food from anyone outside the house. Second one was a smooth haired bitch and she was lovely but she was a killing machine, birds, rabbits, mice, rats or anything that moved really.

Do you let the dog roam round the work surfaces ? That's why I don't eat food prepared at my sister's house
  5. I don't think it would be fast enough to drive a chain effectively, a bandsaw blade would be more appropriate for a 4 stroke.
  6. First Swifts spotted here yesterday, sky was clear and I sat in the garden and watched them for ages. I blame them for anything that didn't get done.
  7. The pampas grass was in the garden when removed in. It took me 20 odd years to get rid of it and we never got any offers Sent from my KFFOWI using Arbtalk mobile app
  8. Can you not see it ? Everybody else can
  9. Just been out on a pushbike ride and took this of an oak and an ash in a field where I stop off for a breather. There are lots of ash still looking like this it's quite usual round here.
  10. I used a machete on the one in the back garden then dug the root out with a spade. I just dug round it then undercut it and rolled it out it didn't take too much doing. Beat the soil off the root with the spade then rolled it into the trailer I split it and someone took half to replant and the rest went to the tip. It was over a metre across and took the wife and I an afternoon to shift.

  12. Any pictures of an original plate ?
  13. Like a Greengage ? There are a couple growing in hedges round here which don't fruit often but when they do the fruit is nice and sweet.
  14. Make them into toilet seat and door and no-one will notice How close do you have to get to smell semen ?
  15. Round here Ash is always last to leaf and first to drop.

  18. Bucking spikes or bumper spikes, bigger ones just rob you of bar length why would you want monsters unless they are for posing value ?
  19. Best to start with a few tugs before the blower kicks in I think.
  20. I don't think I ever saw a badger sett dug straight down before, they have always been sideways into banks or ditch sides. When they have been established for some time you can usually spot them from the bedding which they drag out to put new in.
  21. They never made a nice Harley Davidson There's a reason it's been parked for months, they say that 95% of all Harleys ever made are still on the road. The other 5% made it home
  22. How were you holding the saw to melt the back of your glove. First thing you do with a saw is take the spark arrester off. You sound like you have a lot of bad luck with saws, for your sake don't try sky diving
  23. My bet is on an ash tree jumping in and pushing them both out
  24. Get somebody to press the brake pedal with the offending indicator on while you look at the lights (with the engine running or ignition on of course) Mine had a problem where the indicator would not work but when you pressed the brake the rear light flashed instead. I cleaned the earths up and the terminals in the lamp unit on the car and it cured it.
  25. Doesn't work with dinner, how can it work with anything else ? It's better to have and not need than to need and not have.
